Reagan had arguably their best run of the season so far. Cedar Ridge was great too!

I know there show could use some cleaning, but I thought they had a pretty good run yesterday and I thought they sounded really good.  I wonder how much impact having an early time in the first block plays into a bands score.   Marcus was in the same block and made finals so maybe not so much, or maybe following Marcus impacted them? Or maybe they placed exactly where they should have?  

Regarding comments on Round Rock:

When they played really had no effect on their placement. Dismal visuals was the issue this year, for sure. Something that will have to be fixed next year. The placements for this competition and the last one for them were justified. It's heartbreaking watching those kids work so hard without the tools needed to excel. Not at all the fault of the students. If your formula is not working, directors, change the darn formula! Your kids want to win. Help them.

That band is too good to need that.

yeah what is up with that metronome? that section is not even that demanding to need it this late in the season.

I agree! Reagan sounded so powerful and that brass from cedar ridge is great

Treating the performance aspects of their program as if they’re so much a given that we have to highlight what some may view is lacking, yes. It is always good for people to appreciate what they see ultimately though, when it comes to any group ‘cause the effort is clearly evident through the performance these students give👏👏👏

Flower Mound was sooo entertaining! I loved all the colors and props. Feels like a musical production.

Flower Mound needs to lock in all those Full Ensemble Tuning moments if they want to Medal at GN’s. 

That issue sticks out because everything else is so good.

Just saw a great pic,  Vista walking towards the field in the tunnel past Vandy exiting.  Exchanging high fives and first bumps.  That is awesome.

Definitely top 3 hebron show for me. I would still have to say 2015’s “360” is still my favorite, but this is number 2 with 2019’s Among the Stars at number 3.

They probably have a BOA length show (11min) and they started it around the 3 min remaining mark in setup time to allow for the whole show to be played in time.

CTJ's full show is about 12 and a half minutes long. They cut out the preshow and part of the closer at area and in prelims to stay within the UIL time limits but finals has none.
