WAY TO GO HEBRON! Proud of my alma mater and so happy to see their well deserved win. Wasn’t expecting a sweep but oh man those visual/GE scores must have been close!!

The judges definitely pulled back on the scores a little bit here. I was expecting all of the top 4 to crack 95, based on previous weeks' results. I kept waiting for the announcer to give up that first 90 score to Leander. It was so close for so many bands!

Does anyone know what could've caused Vista's drop from 8th to 12th? They got a rough draw for finals performance, but a 4 spot drop seems heavy

Odd it looks like Vista's visual performance took a hit in finals.

The gap between 13th and 8th was 1.32 points. Those bands were so incredibly tight that honestly I don't think Vista Ridge did anything wrong. They had a fantastic finals run that just fell shy of some of the other bands. They will be in good shape for Grand Nationals.

It looks like their score dropped over 2 points between prelims and finals too... Of course, it's hard to compare scores when the judging changes and everything, but this didn't happen for any other band in finals. I thought their finals run was just as good, if not better than their prelims run, but what do I know? 🤷‍♀️
