I think there are a lot of us TW parents worried about this exact thing- first up was a very tough draw.

There are so many amazing bands. I wish I knew more to understand the nuances between the scoring better- but it’s so hard to guess who will get to finals.

Of all bands, the Woodlands has nothing to worry about. I can’t really imagine a scenario where they don’t advance. Coppell, Westlake, Cedar Ridge, and Bowie will be hurt by their draw time in the first block. They’re all bands on the bubble for finals, and will now be pushed even further into the bubble compared to bands like TWCP, Pearland, Prosper, Hendrickson, etc etc.

Vista Ridge is stunning I am surprised that this is the same band from the years before, they seem focused and confident.

Indeed. It was such a shame. Although, I'm sure they forgot about it the second they won their class championship at nationals a few days later. haha!

 

And then they, again, drew early in national finals. yeesh

Ahhhhhh. We had a medical emergency right as John horn was coming on. The "emergency" is on her way to the hospital w/ a broken ankle.

 

BUT!! More importantly, how did John Horn do? Any chance they go on?

There are not missing moments in Vista Ridge show... every part has a reason and support the next one. I love the passion these kids put into this show!!
