  1. But in all seriousness, I don't see this not winning. Definitely taking music and most likely GE, haven't seen Avon/Carmel/TW's yet but if they don't take home the eagle tomorrow, I will be shocked. Individual musicianship is out of this world, amazing performance Hebron, bring it home tonight!
  2. Yes it is their first, and I think we will be seeing them again tonight, that was phenomenal!
  3. YES DRIPPING SRPINGS!!! I think we have our first new Texas finalist band!!! That music performance was STELLER!!! HOLY COW BRASS! Visual program was so good, and they marched so well, very clean. Soloist were SO GOOD! Tons of GE, I mean wow, that was a powerful performance! I think we will be seeing them again tonight, amazing job Dripping Springs!
  4. WAY TO GO JAMES BOWIE!!! If that was their final run, they should be super proud of that performance, because that was AMAZING!!! Feel bad for the Flute soloist, but you could still here them, and then such a powerful opening hit!!! Soloist were great throughout the whole show, guard did amazing, and really mature sounds coming from their brass. Last time I saw this show was Austin prelims and they have grown so much, thank you for that incredible performance James Bowie!
  5. Blue Springs has left me speechless.....what a beautiful show!! That Sparano Sax played with such a perfect tone! Visually stunning, and musically just amazing, the ending, while very long, added so much emotional power to the show. I mean, it's a "weird" show design, don't get me wrong, but the execution is top notch, I mean wow wow wow, great job Blue Springs!
  6. CTJ!!! If that performance doesn't get them into finals, I'd be very surprised, because that was INCREDIBLE!!! They definitely want to perform again tonight, and you could tell! Such a cool pre-show, and then it's such a rich, powerful opening hit! Great soloist all around, guard killed it, and I love the little jam-out/clap-a-long section, so entertaining! and their is so much visual GE, with many different variations of the "Flamingo" leg move! Great finish with Firebird Suite, I do think we will be seeing them again tonight, amazing job CTJ!!!
  7. Amazing job Arlington! Such a HUGE, rich opening statement was blown away by their sound! Great rendition of "The Swan" in the ballad, they played it so beautifully, and with such a mature sound. Visual package was great, some really challenging stuff that they nailed, another performance I absolutely loved, great job Arlington!
  8. Great job Nation Ford! Visually a very strong and enjoyable performance, guard was also very strong! Musically, they put out a good sound for their size, woodwinds were especially impressive, some dirt in the brass at times, but overall a very strong performance, great job Nation Ford!
  9. Homestead has me jamming out at 7 in the morning!!! It's hard for me to read the show design wise, but boy do they sound and look great! Soloist did wonderful, some very hard drill that they killed, and just great sounds throughout the group! Percussion was defiantly a highlight, and that Guitar soloist was awesome, great job Homestead!
  10. WALLED LAKE!!! What a show! Another INCREDIBLE color guard, absolutely memorized by their performance, especially their rifle line...I mean they killed it, I think one somewhat big drop, but other than that they were CLEAN! Soloist were very good, the drill helped bring out the show so much, lots of drill/bodywork to help do so. Really great sounds, loved this show SO much, amazing job Walled Lake!
  11. Great performance from PCEP! Great use of different colors throughout the show. Great sounds all around, loved the guard uniforms. Musically very impressive, loved the ballad a ton, great job PCEP!
  12. Even with the electronic issues, Carroll has impressed me SO much!!! What an amazing show! Guard was the big wow for me, so much hard work they are making look so easy. Great ensemble sounds, those woodwinds were ripping through some very difficult licks, and soloist were great, and the pushed through, great job Carroll!
  13. WOW Bartlett! This has to be one of my favorite shows of the year! Its such a cool theme, and they are executing the show so well. Soloist were on fire the whole show, great dynamics, and that guard was a treat to watch! Visually very stunning, I doubt it will happen but I would love to see them make finals, because wow that was an incredible performance, great job Bartlett!
  14. Hello there Marian Catholic!!! I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were our class A program, because that was incredible! Huge fan of that music book, and omg the metal percussion feature was SO tight! Soloist were great all around, and for their size, they are executing a pretty hard music book and playing with such a big sound! Some visual dirt but I think they have a very strong chance of performing again tonight, great job Marian Catholic!
  15. Good morning everyone! We are here live on Box5 for the BOA Grand Nationals Semi-Finals, which will start shortly the Marian Catholic HS marching band! It's crazy to think today is the last day of the season, I mean I remember the first day like it was sometime last week, and to think after today it will be over is crazy, so to all the bands performing today, give it your all, and best of luck to all the bands performing today!
  16. Thank you so much! Crazy schedule to say the least, can't wait to watch all 8 of our #TeamTexas bands perform tomorrow (hopefully twice each)!
  17. Yeah, I should have been more specific; BOA doesn't leak stuff to the public unlike UIL, though I'd love for placements to get leaked lol
  18. Nobody will have these until after finals, BOA doesn't leak stuff like UIL
  19. Wakeland went in 2014, but other than that it would be first time for thee other bands, would love to see it!
