PLC137
Vista Ridge's mega-prop makes me nervous. Seems like 199 things can go wrong. But I guess you can't have a show called Turning Tables without an enormous turning table.

LostChoirGuy
Question about FloMarching- Do they not have the monthly subscription option anymore? All I am seeing is the yearly plan.
A Testing Trumpet
They have a monthly for $29.99/mo
jetliner
Vista Ridge is making a serious case for a medal here. Favorite show of the day thus far
A Testing Trumpet
Vista Ridge- It's amazing how much this band has improved over the past few years. The production is strong and the skill on display is clear and concise. Yet another strong case for finals. Great job!
BlueCircle
Vista - they have cleaned up nicely. Guard still has some work to do but not as much as I though they would have. I love the part right after the ballad. It has some personality. The soprano solo ballad kind of feels like it’s just trying to capture the magic from last year but that soloist is AMAZING. My only other criticism is I don’t feel there’s enough color contrast to differentiate the parts of the show. It’s all black white and blue and blurs together for me on my initial impression. But that has nothing to do with the performers, just a design nit-pick. I’m very pleased with how they have cleaned this up! Show feels like a Hebron/FloMo hybrid but like in a good and unique way (that probably didn’t make any sense ) LeanderMomma and A Testing Trumpet
LostChoirGuy
They have a monthly for $29.99/mo Thats what I had last year, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I feel like an idiot but I'm struggling hard right now haha. Sad that I missed some great performances this morning. Hopefully I will figure it out and get to see them all tonight. TWHSParent
So Vista is a top half finalist - they are following up last year with another great one. Looking forward to seeing how it develops. Last year's just got better and better through the season. I personally very slightly preferred Cedar Ridge this morning - I loved their energy and tempo changes and how they pretty much nailed them, but hey, I'm probably wrong. I agree that Cedar Vista Ridge are the 2 strongest so far, with Cedar Ridge having a strong visual program with great music effects, while Vista’s show yet again being a GE powerhouse + boasting strong music technique and power. CTJBandPops
Rouse and Hendrickson made finalist statements. Rouse's show was the type that I personally enjoy stylistically, so that one sucked me right in. Hendrickson's show is well done, and I like the way they play with the source music. One concern I have - last week BOA was VERY stringent about performance times. I'm seeing lots of 5 minute shows - are they actually getting to the 6 minute mark, or are penalties going to play a part? BOA requires a minimum of 6 minutes and penalizes under that time - seen many today that are not meeting the 6 minutes - will be interesting to see if that has an impact on the outcome
A Testing Trumpet
Shadow Creek - Some fun body movement in the opening segments, along with a fairly powerful sound. Loved the fire theme as well. I would not be surprised to see them at a regional finals in the future.

LostChoirGuy
All I get from that link is the option to purchase a yearly subscription for 150 dollars. There used to be two options. Maybe I should reach out to customer support about it.
A Testing Trumpet
Del Rio- WOW!!! Favorite show of the day so far! That show had so much complexity to it, and plenty of energy. Powerful sound and great soloists. I think there is a good chance we may see them again in Finals!

TWHSParent
Del Rio has a really good one, as usual. I think they will be top 15, and reasonably close to finals, but just missing.
jetliner
Del Rio must've taken the judge's feedback from last week pretty well, great improvement in the course of one week!
A Testing Trumpet
Pflugerville- Pfun show with good energy to it. With a bit more cleaning it could make a regional finals, I think. Can't wait to see how the show evolves. TWHSParent
josephbandfan
Currently at work and missing so many bands most notably Vista Ridge. Caught the first block though and was thoroughly impressed with everyone. Already such an amazing regional. Cedar Ridge is my current favorite! A Testing Trumpet
Jack C. Hays- Loved the powerful opener, the silly/fun section during the trumpet soloist was also neat. Overall the show was performed with lots of sound throughout. With a bit more clarity, could see them in a regional finals. Good showing! A Testing Trumpet
Ann Richards- Good sound for the size, healthy bit of soloists throughout as well. Music selection was fun and the show had some nice movements. Nice job. TWHSParent

Plus you get DCI access over the summer.
A Testing Trumpet
Leander- Clear, powerful sounds and chords. I think this production has a lot of potential at Grand Nationals. Enjoyed it more and more the further the show progressed. A great top half statement I think for today. Amazing job!
