It would be nice to see stadiums with retractable roofs or domed. But that will never happen. Let's hope the weather keeps looking good.

Don't give school districts any ideas. We're already struggling for funding haha.

This wouldn't surprise me in the least.

There is a 9/15 performance on Youtube for Westwood. I am very impressed and would very surprised if they are not in the finals and not just at the bottom. I think their show has real potential and I can't wait to hear them live.

I'll be interested to see them tomorrow night. Hope the weather cooperates.

Weather has been an issue across the whole State this September!!  I am very thankful that we are not seeing the catastrophic floods that Houston suffered last year.

It's those dang hurricanes from the East. They gotta cut that out.

Maybe if we ask nicely?

Actually, its not the hurricanes from the east, it’s the hurricanes from the southwest and trouphs(fronts) from the northwest that has done the most damage this month. That tropical system from the gulf last week was just 2 days lol. Rain chances are increasing this weekend and next week down here. We are at 70 percent on Saturday in San Antonio, and in the 50s all of next week before the cool front, and those percentages are likely to go up. I wish all those competing this weekend good luck and hope everyone stays safe out there.

You shouldn't be in band. You should be a meteorologist.

Just saw both Westwood and Vista Ridge perform. I really like Westwood's show. Definitely the most challenging show I've seen them do the last few years.

As for Vista, I stand firmly by my previous assertions: Folks are going to be surprised at just how good they are.

I've been impressed with both from what I have heard and seen. I did think that Westwood's sound was cleaner and their intonation much better than Vista Ridge's at this point.

Welp CR vs Leander got rained out so no run for CR post-game :'). Leander was seriously phenomenal during halftime though! I can see a top 3 finish at Austin for them!

Again, I can’t wait for the BOA setting vs the football game setting to see our show. I absolutely wanted to strangle some middle school age children tonight on the Cedar Ridge side. We sat on the 50 yard line, top row, on the home side, even though we were the visiting team, but it was hard to hear over this rather large, rather loud, group of kiddos. Even one of the Leander directors standing behind me walked over and very nicely asked them to settle down so we could hear our band, but they just weren’t interested in anything but causing a ruckus. Very frustrating!

I sure hope this rain stops before next Saturday. I just want to sit and watch bands all day in a proper setting!
