phenomenal performance from Westlake! Great sounds all around, and they are all over the field! Love the theme, and the music goes very well with the theme. Great job Westlake!

Oh lord back to back great performances! I expect CR to blow my face off and to show of their outstanding percussion.

I love how much Westlake features their woodwinds! I’m admittedly a little tired of Barber 1 but they play it well enough that I can’t complain.

MY GOODNESS CEDAR RIDGE! What a wonderful show! I think this one will take some time for me to grow on it, but once it's complete and clean Ik I'm gonna love it more than I already do! just great sounds all around, interesting theme, and they played the heck out of it! Gonna be another wonderful season for them! Great job Raider band!

I love Cedar Ridge’s concept of trying to show us who Medusa was outside of the monster we know her as. I don’t think the characterization is coming through quite strong enough yet, especially compared to the gargoyle character they did last year, but still a strong and fun show!

Cedar Ridge tends to be a late bloomer so i can't  wait till they clean and refine their sound. They will no doubt be a finalists.

MY GOD ROUSE!!! They already sound miles ahead of what they did last year this time around! I mean they just absolutely

threw down! They may be a little higher than I expected lol, could easily see them in the top half! LOVE this show so much already!

Rouse once again starting the season off extremely strong. Hopefully they can keep this momentum up because they seem hungry to return to San Antonio finals. Thought they were maybe a bit stronger than Cedar Ridge even.

I don’t think anybody has even got close to CP’s visual difficulty + execution today, so I think I would still (maybe controversially) still have them ranked in first overall.

Very impressed with Tom C. Clark! Really big ensemble sounds, great soloist, and that ballad was incredible. really loved the performance. Great job Tom C. Clark!

What a fun show from Weiss! Love the little ensemble moment, and they've got a big sound this year! Could definitely be a dark horse this season, especially as we get closer to area. I'd say they've got a shot at finals, but if not they won't be far out. Soloist were also incredible. Great job Weiss!

MY GOODNESS ROUND ROCK! What a performance both musically and visually! They sound so so good, and that drill is also very clean! The sky is the limit for them with this show! Soloist killed it, and I love the opener with the backfield playing! Just such a great show all around. Definitely looking like a grand nats finalist to me come that time. Great job Rock Band!

Round Rock’s show is soooooo pretty. Very pleasant and uplifting vibes throughout and it was quite clean. Thought the ballad lacked some oomph, especially visually, but they sound so good. Not sure about the green feet though 🤔

LAKE TRAVIS!!! They sound dangerously good! that opener was so clean and loud, the double tonging feature was so good, like this is another level of good for this program! I'd be pretty surprised if they don't make finals, but they will be very close if they don't, just with how good those bands fighting for those last few spots are. soloist were also very good, loved the tuba! and they looked pretty clean drill wise. Amazing job LT!

Lake Travis coming in with one of the most musically challenging openers of the day - a little dirt here and there but impressive nevertheless!

I hope to see them in finals - I think this is my favorite show of theirs to date!

Lake Travis is great, I just wish that half the band didn’t stand there (or lay there) the whole time. In all seriousness, they always produce such great sounds!
