I really liked those spinning snowflakes in Lebanon Trail’s show! Loved the music, too!

J.M. Hanks is the surprise of the day for me so far. They are loud for their size and tight! Huge guard. Don’t sleep on these guys and gals!

Hanks was lovely to watch especially the Guard. Forney is much improved since BOA Prosper, I enjoyed their performance

Great Job Forney!    Loved it, definitely a crowd favorite and one of my favorites!

Was very clean and I see a top 1/2 of finals on this one possible.   The joy and excitement shown by the band after the performance was sooooo genuine and fantastic to see!

Here are my top 3 predictions:

2. Wakeland
3. Cedar Park

 

Let me explain why I think Wakeland has a good chance. They lost to Leander by a point in the finals at the super regional, but GE killed Wakeland, and there is no GE. Also, I just like Wakeland's show a lot more than theirs. The tuba solo and trombone solo are cool, but their show just doesn't meet the expectations of that show!

GE is essentially content / design so there is a similar caption present, admittedly not weighted similarly but it’s in the same vain.

But basically it’s asking if there is a design to the show, and Wakeland has a really good design.

This seems really tough. I think about 5-7 locks and then about 15 groups competing for those last 5-7 spots. And it's UIL so you definitely never know.

Had to hop on for Wakeland, will be here for prelims results and all of finals tomorrow but wow was that good. Drill is just SO tight, and their music is amazing as always, can't wait to watch their final run tomorrow, great job Wakeland!
