I thought rouse won music but CP had visual for me so ig rouse but truly a toss up

I saw most of prelims including north, it was a very solid performance, I personally had them in finals but different judges have different opinions and I guess this panel didn’t vibe with them yesterday for lack of a better word

Hanks was lovely to watch especially the Guard. Forney is much improved since BOA Prosper, I enjoyed their performance

Watch them end up back to back at a comp

Poor unfortunate souls and Prokofiev symphony 1 are good selections

WG that high is bold. I also don’t see McKinney Boyd in finals. Hendrickson, McKinney North, and Forney I would all put in finals. Honestly none of us will be close with these predictions until maybe the day or week before.

Walnut Grove has this on their Calendar. That will be interesting

I have no clue at this point how this contest will go. So many notable and interesting programs attending. You could argue almost any of these bands for a finals placement. It seems like most bands not attending DFW are here and I’m excited to see how this contest will turn out.

This is the most interesting 6A area to me, followed by area H. Lewisville, Prosper, Wylie, and honestly McKinney all strong districts overall. I’m going to ignore WG because they will almost certainly be 5A. I think this is becoming if not already the most competitive 6A area. I wonder why the don’t host in McKinney or Prosper. I definitely plan on attending this contest. I can definitely see programs like Lewisville or especially McKinney HS moving up into finals in the future. And I feel like the Wylie schools get stronger every year but we’ll see. I think Allen and the Plano schools could be finals band but idk who they’d beat to get there. Very interested for this contest.
