I do agree with you, hopefully tomorrow is closer to that level of performance of state finals

Really don’t love the trend of putting jv/wind players on swing flag (especially when the guard is plenty big enough!), 9 times out of 10 it just makes those moments lack clarity visually.

First time seeing Tom Glenn this season and really enjoyed that performance!! I see why they did so well this season because they have come a long way in how they look and sound. Great musical presence, both from soloists and the ensemble as a whole, with plenty of showcasing of each section. Some cool visual moments, but was really impressed with their sound, especially given their size, great job Glenn!

On the hornrank forums, people have said that one of the guard members had a medical emergency that included throwing up, so they are cleaning it up.

Leader was realllly great. Much much much prefer this show to last year. Soloists kinda stole the show for me.

It makes me sad to think about all the bands that end their season at San Antonio and despite being a top 100 band in the country, they will not make it to finals, I wish more texas bands would go to grand nats so they can see how good they are and just how high the standard is in texas

mgj went to grand nats in 2022 I believe! they made it to semifinals and got so close to grand nat finals 🙁

For real! I just know that it’s gonna be tough for some really crazy good bands, so I want to make sure they hear that all their hard work paid off!

Bowie always has top notch design, but this show is probably my favorite of their’s post-2020.
