Ok, so I’ve been told that AISD is considering cutting fine arts/magnet programs and anyone who transferred to a school like McCallum to attend the magnet program will have to go to the school they’re zoned to. There is a meeting at McCallum’s cafeteria to speak against these changes from 5:30-8:00. I am not 100% on all of this, but this is coming from a person at McCallum.

Sad I won't be there. I wish I could skip school to watch, but UIL wouldn't like my grades if I did such a thing.

I have a radical idea that I came up with of without much though and I don't know if it would work. Olympic diving has a system where they scrap the highest and lowest two ordinals/scores that were achieved by a diver and the remaining 3 scores are added together (then multiplied for difficulty, but I don't think that's necessary for band) to get their final score. What if UIL did a similar system?

You know what? That's a good point. I'm still happy with our multicam from Waco because it actually showed me instead of panning over all of pit, but then cutting to high cam right before getting to me.

The thing is, Flo hasn't seen most of these shows I'm assuming so they just jump to whatever they see might be important a lot of the times.

I prefer multicam, just because I like the different views and angles even if it's shaky sometimes.

We do already have a thread for similar ideas like this, but that show definitely has a lot of potential. Oh yeah, forgot to say that I was also half asleep while the DNA and Clay things happened.

So lately I've been having band pop up everywhere in my life. A couple weeks ago while staying up late I wrote, "DNA is only found in 6A bands" instead of Eukaryotes. Then last Wednesday I wrote, "Clay chartered the Second National Band of America" in AP US History. Finally I had a dream a couple nights ago where a few band kids from my school moved to Flower Mound and I asked them to give a flower petal and say hi to my friend who goes to Carmel, not FloMo, then we were in a really wide charter bus to a competition. I don't know what's wrong with me if anything, but this is getting a little strange.

I would like it if you were at Heroes, because I never got to meet you at Waco for obvious reasons.

So all this rain has caused a bit of an issue here in Austin. There's too much sediment in the water source that the treatment plants can't process it all fast enough, so now we can't drink faucet water.
