Since I don't have a competition that day, I'm now considering going just to watch. Last year after the Waco incident a few of us went to TMC and watched the last few bands in prelims. It was very weird watching another high school band in the lot while in high school.

Looks like Adamson (Dallas), Lehman (Kyle), and Canyon (New Braunfels) were added, so it's looking like this will be pretty a competitive competition

Dripping Springs released their show Mass=F/A and all I know about the music is that they're using music from Bernstein's Mass

We're mostly just getting back on our feet in my opinion. We've definitely put more focus on GE and I think our new show has a lot of potential, but also all of this naturally has a little bias seeing how I go there.

Ann Richards 2019 show is called: The Heist

Looks like Austin Bowie announced their show, it's called The Apotheosis and it just says that the music is by James Horner, Paul Dukas, and David Maslanka This show is funny to me, because back in early 2017 the directors had fake shows on their whiteboard and one of them was called Apotheosis and was music by Karel Husa and it also had Yackety Sax.

I can only confirm BOA Austin, and USBands Round Rock for Anderson. Waco is a pretty solid bet for us as well seeing how it's the only competition we could go to that day. I do not know what we're going to on October 5th, I can only guess Vista Ridge or USBands Waco

I remember their website saying it's open to the first 24 to sign up, so I don't know if there will be any more additions

So does that mean they moved Region 18 back to Tuesday?

Looks like Akins put Waco on their calendar, which confused me because I thought they moved Region 18 to that Saturday. Their calendar has Region on a Tuesday that also says tentative.

Whenever there's a camera in front of me during the show, I wink at it. Also, during Waco 2 mic stands fell down during the ballad. The second one to fall was falling down directly towards me and my board, so I very nervously stepped back and it fell right in front of my keyboard and didn't hit. Apparently it hit our pit tech's foot which prevented it from hitting me. The last one I have was from our concert performance for UIL at Hays. I forgot to put on my dress shoes, so the whole time I had my black and grey tennis shoes on at UIL.

Yeah, it's too bad we can't continue to have UIL on a Tuesday, I also hear some of the schools in districts like Pflugerville were going to do UIL with Region 18

Are we sure it's not Cadets 2012?

In the past we had everyone in guard do swing flags, but then they were split by who wanted to do dance during the ballad, and those who wanted to do more flags like 6 foot flags. Those who chose to do dance always left the next year because that was the stepping stone towards drill team. Now we separated that part into pre drill and now (I think) everyone does most everything in guard.
