  1. Going off of texasmusicforums these are all the bands that received a 1 rating in AAAAA regions 8, 12, 18, and 26. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, I couldn't find the official list for area yet. Seguin Lockhart Floresville Comal Canyon Weiss Pflugerville Hendrickson Georgetown Elgin East View Connally McCallum Lehman LASA Johnson Dripping Springs Cedar Creek Bastrop Anderson 19 schools, just shy of four spots for state making it three spots now.
  2. I definatly agree that Drip And Churchill will be going at it for first though I think Drip has the edge here
  3. 1. Dripping Springs 2. Churchill 3. Brennan 4. Sharyland 5. Georgetown 6. Anderson 7. Austin 8. LBJ 9. Robinson 10. Johnson Those last two are because of the group rules, great shows all around, all of these groups clean up well towards the end of the season but I don't think it'll be enough to take the spots of those that medal. Anyone I forgot or y'all have it another way?
  4. I think that they combine I and II but that still leaves only 5 spots that aren't the class winners
  5. That's right, can't count out these programs. Late season theatrics happen a lot with "smaller" bands (I say smaller as in general success), last year some of these weren't thought of much based off of early and mid season runs but then showed up come competition day.
  6. Hendrickson was for sure a band that placed lower than expected despite haveing one heck of a performance, but others like Hays, Anderson, and Sachse also did great without the scores showing that. What is it that got these programs a lower score than anticipated?/what do the others do so great?
  7. What's Dripping Springs plan with going to usbands here? Medaling is already going to be tough for regulars at this event but now with the addition of DS it's even tougher
  8. First week of football games have finished for most which means first week of halftime shows as well. I've seen the Anderson, McCallum, Harker Heights, and Round Rock so far. What's up with the rest of them?
  9. Anderson is off to it's best start in years, they're something to look at this coming year
  10. New staff is a good point and along side that it could be that they were late to sign up (cause of the new staff adjusting)
  11. True true, I just hope that they don't stomp on the regulars of us bands too hard. I'm pulling through for Anderson to repeat win though
  12. That one competition that people go to instead of BOA San Antonio, just for later when it's coming up and people might want to talk
  13. Huh I really did just recite what you said earlier, my b didn't mean that just curious
  14. Alright, so who we thinking is going to win? I mean there are some great mid-teir bands that could have a breakout season but also a few big boys that always seem to do good.
