After watching the premiere in Theater, here is my favorites (In Order)- 1st- Bluecoats- such a unique show and definitely a top 5 show- Love the props and the uniforms are something different- music wise, they had a very unique choice and the dance break really made this show something- Visually, it was really interesting and I can't wait to see how they build this show over the summer! 2nd- Boston Crusaders- All I can say is WOW- Loved the show musically and Visually and was engaged with the show the entire time!- I can see this show in the Top 5 or even break into the Top 3 if they keep it up throughout the rest of the season 3rd- Blue Stars- I know some may think, "Why did I put Blue Stars ahead of The Cavaliers and Phantom Regiment", well all I can say is I really liked the show!- The uniforms were really unique and gave a bit of a throwback to The Cadets 2011 show.- I really enjoyed the music and thought the Blue Stars put on what amazing performance! I can see the show make the Top 12 by finals, but I do think that they have some work to do to try and make it into the Top 8 4th- Phantom Regiment- Amazing Show!- The music was as amazing I was hoping it would be and visually, they put it out on the field tonight!- They started the night off right and the Opener is one I won't forget! Now I can see Phantom breaking into the Top 5 this year, but we will have to wait and see on that. 5th- The Cavaliers- I like the show, the music is great, the idea is there, but I just couldn't get into the show. I do enjoy the shows that they do, but this one doesn't seem to be ready yet. The Cavaliers will be in finals, no doubt on that, but I hope that they make this show into something amazing! I really like their uniforms, the clock idea is really cool, and the clock tarp and Giant clock hands were really cool to see and how they played out! The Tubas moving around the clock and one person standing in the middle acting like the hands was really neat! Finally, I loved the throwback to their 2002 performance with the break down and ending drum beat. But I did also feel like the show ended randomly. 6th- Crossman- I enjoyed watching the show, they had a really unique Idea with starting and ending at the same set. The circle props look really cool and I really like the uniforms! I would like to see them make it into the Top 12, but I don't know yet as Mandarins and The Academy seem to have an advantage this year. Hope things improve for them by DCI World Championships! Overall, I really enjoyed the shows! Was a great way to get back into DCI after not watching it since 2018. I can't wait to go to DCI Denton where I get to watch more amazing programs, including my favorite group Santa Clara Vanguard and Carolina Crown! Also I have my first predictions for Top 12 so far (In No Order)- The Academy Bluecoats Blue Devils Blue Stars Boston Crusaders Carolina Crown The Cavaliers Crossman Mandarins Phantom Regiment Santa Clara Vanguard Spot 12- Still Up for Grabs imo

I will say Argyle is really good with adapting to new conferences, and I feel that with them moving into 5A, they will build up to be one of the top 5A groups in no time. Now I'm not saying it will happen since Princeton moved up in 2018 and they were a top 4A school and now are always at the bottom of the pack in Area. This will be an interesting event and I can't wait to see how they both do!

It is long overdue for Carolina Crown to finally win again. But I feel that Blue Devils may win this year, unless Bluecoats take the lead tonight after the premiere. But I definitely would love to see Crown take it

I have to say, Blue Devils have really impressed me! But I can't wait to see what the Bluecoats, The Cavaliers, Boston Crusaders, Blue Stars, and Crossman have in store tomorrow!

But that can be said for a lot of bands who didn't place well last year

sweet! This will be the first season I keep up with since 2018, so I can't wait! Glad to see that Academy and Mandarins are still going strong! I get to see the Detroit show in Theaters, so I am excited to see what Bluecoats and Cavaliers have in store!

I could see Vandegrift winning it. Vista Ridge is also a good contender to win it.

I haven't seen anything yet. I am watching the Detroit show in Theaters next week, so I'll get to see some shows for the first time then. Does anyone know what Santa Clara is doing this year? I haven't seen anything for them yet.

I will say this, I marched with the Area B group, as I came from Melissa High School, and that Area isn't as easy as one would think with Argyle and Melissa not being in the group anymore. There is still bands like Farmersville, Sanger, Stephenville, Celina, Van Alystne, Kaufman, and Community just to name some. The area won't be as difficult now, compared to Area D and Area C, but that area still has some amazing programs! Can't wait to see how Panther Creek does!

I would like to see both Cinco Ranch and Cy-Fair to make it to state for Area I. Hopefully 5 bands can make it to state from Area I so that we can see another band advance again

I know this was back in May, but I remember when I was in High School, we marched "With Heart and Voice" By David Gillingham back in 2016. Interesting to see that Melissa played it again 6 years later as a concert piece

Welp, I have found a year that has no results anywhere, 2007. Does anyone have any of those results saved anywhere? The only results I do have is Area C in 1A/2A and 4A

Well I'm happy now, I was finally able to find out who was in finals at the Area B 4A contest in 2014. I knew the 5 bands that advanced (Argyle, Princeton, Wills Point, Canton, Melissa), but I couldn't find out the other 5. But now I know that it was Anna, Celina, Kaufman, Mabank, and Sanger. I also have the bands that competed in prelims, but placements are unknown.

We could see the return of Thorndale or Valley Mills as well. I know they haven't done well at the Area contest lately, but they could still surprise us.

Also letting everyone know, I am right now working on a Google Sheet that will have all the results organized like UIL does for the State contest

Alright, so I'm trying to figure out something, was there an Area G in conference 5A or 4A from 1990-1999? I can't seem to figure it out since I can't find any sources that can tell me where bands were during that time.

Hey everyone, so I have been doing this long project to try and find every Area contest results from every year, I have been saving every URL that has it and then putting it into a Google Docs.
