Congratulations to Celina HS who has now become a 4x state champion! They become apart of an elite group of programs who have been able to win more than 2 titles in back to back years! It has been amazing to see what this program has become over these last 4 years. Next year will most likely see them join the 5A bands, so we shall see how they fair against 5A bands in Area B! Also congratulations to Davenport who placed 2nd, their highest in program history! And finally, congratulations to Panther Creek who placed 3rd! Overall, this was a great way to end off the 4A season! Also, shout out to Fredericksburg HS who made finals for the first time in 9 years!! So happy to see them back in the top 10! -

North Lamar, Awesome job!!! Their history of being amongst the top 7/10 bands in their classification for as long as they have has always been impressive to me. They are slowly rising in the ranks again, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were to sneak into the top 5. Great performance North Lamar!

Definitely was a great show! I personally was a fan of Floresville/Krum today because those shows moved me a bit more than the others. Calallen, Fredericksburg, Sulphur Springs, and A.C. Jones were my other favorites as well

Pine Tree with a great run! Man I feel bad for these Judges having to decide who moves on because WOW did the final block of bands give us AMAZING performances. No matter the results, thank you to all the bands today for these amazing performances!!!

Wanted to congratulate Rivercrest HS on their win yesterday in class 2A! This is their 2nd title in the last 4 years! Great job to them and also to Ropes HS, this not only being their first time back to state since 2019, but also their first time being in the Top 3 since 2015! Amazing job to them! And finally congratulations to Sundown on their top 3 finish as well! Great job to all 2A schools yesterday!

I did get to listen to Liberty. For them being such a small group (smallest of the 4A groups), definitely sounded great! Did see some small visual stuff, and thought it was a nice touch to the theme of the show. Unsure where to place them though

After their run, I think Krum has a chance at making finals! They were great! Musically, they sounded spectacular and visuals looked really good. If they don't advance, definitely first few out

Also to everyone, I think Floresville is making finals tonight ! Their run was spectacular!!!! Was really moved by their music, even had a big of tears from that closer. Overall, Fantastic job Floresville!!

Listened to Block 1 today, I have to say that Panther Creek, North Lamar, and Calallen were my favorites. A.C. Jones also sounded pretty good as well! Definitely a throwback to Wylie '22

Congratulations to Flower Mound HS on winning their 2nd state title! They become the 3rd 6A band to win more than one title in the 6A conference, which was done by Vandegrift in 2022 & 2023 and Hebron in 2021 & 2024. The last time Flower Mound won was in 2016 (almost a decade ago). Congratulations again to them and also to Hebron and Vandegrift on their top 3 finish as well!!!

Welcome back to state Cinco Ranch! Crazy to think that it has been over 2 decades since they advanced to the state competition. That run was phenomenal! Really happy to see them make a return, especially after last year. Thank you for that amazing run Cinco Ranch and once again, Welcome back to the State Competition!!!

Dickinson HS with a really good run this morning! Its definitely a fun show, but those props just keep staring lol. And their percussion sounded really good! Fantastic run Dickinson HS! Also just noticed, the prop's eyes actually move 😳

John B. Alexander HS with a beautiful performance this morning! That was definitely a great run from them! I really enjoyed the music, the theme, basically everything for this show! I haven't seen them since BOA McAllen, and it definitely feels they have improved even more over the course of the season! Thank you for that emotional performance John B. Alexander 🥹

Welcome to the state level Rockwall-Heath!!! Even though this is their first state apperance, they made it seem like they have been here everytime! That performance looked and sounded fantastic! Very interested to see where they place, because I feel they could be much higher than we could be thinking. Amazing run Rockwall-Heath!!!
