Good morning all! Today is going to be a spectacular day full of performances from the top 12 5A bands in the state of Texas! This year is full of history and it will only get better from here. Best of luck to all who are competing today and make sure to have the best performances of the season!

Getting Wakeland, Friendswood, and Leander back-to-back-to-back was really epic! 3 potential finalists who all gave amazing performances! I REALLY liked wakelands show, I could legit see it possibly take 2nd place. Friendswood show was really interesting and I really enjoyed the music. Leander show was just a fun show to watch/listen to. I can't wait to see more amazing shows!

I can't wait to see how everyone does! Would love to see Redwater or Atlanta walk out with the title

Yes. Usually During the judges meeting at the conclusion of finals, the bands that qualify for state will draw their performance time.

I have nothing against them. Those are the 2 bands that I could see switch with 9th and 10th place bands in my predictions. I also did note that anything can change and anything could happen at Area.

4A State Military Finalists (in performance order)- 8:30- Lindale HS 8:45- Bullard HS 9:00- Gilmer HS 9:15- Chapel Hill HS 9:30- Spring Hill HS

Personally, this is my final predictions (in my opinion)- 1st- Panther Creek 2nd- China Spring 3rd- Alvarado 4th- Gatesville 5th- Krum 6th- Robinson 7th- Kennedale 8th- Castleberry 9th- Lake Dallas 10th- Springtown First 2 out (Any Order)- Brock & Sanger Now anything can happen and if it does end up raining for this area, then it could change a lot on who places where. Best of luck though to all competing in this area!

Definitely won't count out those bands! CH Yoe could even come in and return to the top 3! Will definitely be an exciting contest!

I think this year will see Redwater, Atlanta, or Mineola take the title. I think Raymondville could get top 5. Can't wait to see how everything plays out!

Personally, I believe that Canyon and West Plains will be in the top 2, and that final spot will go between Randal, Pecos, and Andrews

this will be interesting! I have no Idea who could advance out of this area. The only 2 that I feel have a good chance is Burnet HS and Fredericksburg.

It is possible! I personally believe though that if there isn't, then it will be the first 2 out of finals. My generalized thoughts on how many from each area will be in finals- Area A- 1 (or 2) Area B- 2 (or 3) Area C- 4 (or 3) Area D- 1 (or 0) Area E- 2

Yes. If 30 Bands had qualified, then we would have had 12 state finalists
