Hey if you need Area Results from 2016 and 2015, I have them. I have every results from Area from 2015-2021 (When it happens), excluding 2A in 2017

We are in that time of season again to see who will be competing at the UIL State Marching Band Contest in 4A! Lots of Bands will be trying to earn a first division to have a chance to advance to the UIL Area B marching contest in 4A, which will be held in Denton, TX at C.H. Collins Stadium. This will be an exciting year as they bring back the two round, which are Prelims and Finals, with top 10 advancing to the final round and from there, depending on how many bands advanced to Area, determine who will advance to the State Contest. Area B for conference 4A has two bands that won a State Medal at last years Contest, Argyle HS and Melissa HS, and two other bands who had made top 10 as well, Canton HS and Wills Point HS. This year we may get to see a 5th or even a 6th band join the possible State Lineup this year, and I can't wait to see who advances to this years State Contest!. Congrats to Guyer and Garland! So that means the top 10 were Lovejoy, Lone Star, Bryon Nelson, Mesquite, Memorial, Liberty, Azle, Pine Tree, Guyer, and Garland! Congrats to the top 10 and good luck! Also I'm sad to see that Kaufman didn't place tonight. Did anyone get to see the full results for Prelims?

I would agree with you that either Lovejoy or Lonestar will win. Both are great so it could be a very close one. The 10 bands that I would think could make finals would be Lovejoy, Lonestar, Liberty, Azle, Bryon Nelson, Kaufman, Mesquite, Garland, Pine Tree, and the final spot between Sanger, Alvord, and Memorial

I'm ready to see how Leander ISD does! With Rouse, Cedar Park, and Leander HS all being in the same classification again!

I like this as well! I make my own versions, but do it based on State Appearances.

I think we will be seeing one of the greatest seasons in Marching Band! Not only in UIL, but in BOA as well. So many great lineups, many bands being able to return to competition, and already seeing some amazing show concepts! I can't wait to see what is in store once contests start in September/October! Also, we will be seeing alot of band programs who will be trying to get the State title again. These are all the reigning state champions from 2019 and 2020. 1A: Irion County (2019 UIL State Open Class Champion) 2A: Thorndale (2020 UIL State Open Class Champion) 3A: Minneola (2019 UIL State Open Class Champion) 4A: Argyle (2020 UIL State Open Class Champion) 5A: Cedar Park (2019 UIL State Open Class Champion) 6A: Claudia Taylor Johnson (2020 UIL State Open Class Champion) Military State Contest: 2A: Carlisle (2020 UIL State Military Champion) 4A: Lindale (2020 UIL State Military Champion) We will be seeing new champions in the military state contest this year as 1A, 3A, 5A, and 6A will all be crowning a champion for the first time! We also can't forget about Grand Nationals (I know this post is for UIL State, but I want to mention this). We have the reigning champion Vandegrift making a return, so it will be cool to see how they do this season! I am very excited for the season!!! How about ya'll?

I've faced them before in UIL Area, they beat us by one point in 2016 to go to state, and in 2018, we placed higher then them at both Area and State. They are a good program, but I do agree with you on that they may want to start at a contest in DFW and then go for Grand Nationals. Has there been bands that have done this before? Like go to Grand Nationals before competing in other BOA Contests?

Interesting to see that only one 4A band, Krum HS, is attending. That's cool though that they will have a chance to compete against some of the larger schools, before having to go to Area B for 4A

can't wait to see what is in store! Also can't wait to see castleberry return! I will have my UIL videos return, so getting to talk about them potentially making state will be fun!

I really like the lineup for this contest! Definitely will be interesting to see how all the programs do. Vista Ridge and CTJ will be an epic match to see! Vandegrift returning to competition, and being the reigning BOA Grand National Champion, and many other amazing programs, this contest will be one to remember! Also can't forget about Cedar Park, Leander, and Rouse! Those schools will definitely bring something to the table, especially after the 2018 and 2019 season!

The 2015 Leander show is one of my favorites! That would be awesome to see Leander take the state title this year!

Hey everyone, I know that we have just finished up State for 2020, but I thought it would be a good time to now make the topic for the 2021 contest. The 2020 season really brought in a weird year for the marching season, but now 2021, UIL is allowing there to be State for all conferences. That means we will see 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A compete at the State contest! I can't wait to see what the 2021 contest brings, Especially with 2A, 4A, and 6A returning once again!

Want to congratulate all 4 Area B advancers! All 4 made it into the Top 10, with Wills Point getting 6th and Canton getting 5th! Then...Melissa got 2nd Place! This is the first time Melissa has placed in the Top 3! Finally, congrats to Argyle, who has won their 7th State Championship! Once again congrats to all 4 Area B bands!
