    Yeah I can defiantly see those bands being locks for the 6A contest. Would be cool to see some new bands advance to the State contest as well! Give those bands the chance to march with the top schools in Texas!

    Also Area B for 6A, Five Bands for Area???? Are they taking two still even though there is so little performing? Also Who would have the best chance of advancing from there?

    I have to Say, Area D for 6A looks to be very interesting since they are only sending 2 bands to state since 8 qualified. My two picks for the contest are C.T. Johnson and Belton

    Also my predictions for Area B, C, and D- Area B- Argyle, Canton, Melissa, and Farmersville, Wills Point, Community, Anna, or Mabank Area C- North Lamar, Lumberton, Little Cypress-Mauriceville Area D- Kennedale, Springtown, China Spring, Robinson, and Godley Area E we won't find out until the 22nd on who is going. But by looks of it, they will be sending three bands to State

    yep, hopefully Area B will send 4 bands to the State Contest. Since it looks like Mineral Wells won't be competing

    Also if you look at the 2A results, it says who was advanced to State after the top 3 and then had finalist at the end of the others who didn't advance

    I was able to find the the other schools who made top 5, and none of them had anything said about making State, so they did only advance three

First I wanted to say a huge congratulations to Andrews HS who have finally made it back to the State Marching Contest for the first time in 12 years! Congrats to Big Spring HS who was able to win the Area Contest and is making their return once again to the State Marching Contest! Congrats to Canyon HS who is returning once again to the State Marching Contest, and are trying to get back into the top 5 once again! I also wanted to congratulate the 2A bands who have advanced to the State Marching contest, Sundown HS, Plains HS, Forsan HS, Post HS, and Panhandle HS. I want to say a huge congratulations to Post HS as they have officially qualified for their first ever State Marching Contest! Also a huge congratulations to Plains HS as they have made it back to the State Marching Contest for the first time in 23 years! Congrats to Sundown who has made it once again to the State Marching Contest for the record 24th Time! Congrats to Forsan who is making their return to the State Marching Contest! Finally, Congrats to Panhandle HS who has made it back once again to the State Marching Contest! Overall, these were some great contests and once again congrats to all the bands who have officially qualified for the Texas UIL State Marching Band Championships in San Antonio, TX on December 14th!

    So Area A for 4A happened. So by looks of it, 3 bands did advance to state, even though 9 bands made it to Area.
