I could see them 6th possibly over Hendrickson, definitely no higher though. I personally feel like CR, Bowie, TC, Westlake and DS are one level higher, would love for Aledo to surprise us, just don’t know how realistic it is.

How so, genuinely curious? I feel like the 7-9 range is about right with 7L and Johnson, no?

Well, everyone, this event is finally upon us!! Why, BECAUSE WACO!!! We've had tons of comps and plenty of crazy results. I feel like there's a good number of groups that honestly could take the win, especially after seeing what's happened so far. This comp is actually pretty competitive, especially for the bottom halfish. Anyways, here are my final predictions after everything that's happen. Ik a lot of the comps these bands went to are judged differently, but that's really all we have to go off of, but I expect these to be completely wrong: 1st. Cedar Ridge (Music/GE) 2nd. James Bowie (Visual) 3rd. Timber Creek 4th. Dripping Springs 5th. Westlake 6th. Hendrickson 7th. M.G. Johnson 8th. Aledo 9th. Seven Lakes 10th. Keller Central 11th. Sachse 12th. Burleson Centennial First two out: Hutto, Boswell Super happy to be doing another exhibition for ya'll!! The directors cooked so hard for this show, gonna be a fun time!!

In bed and home. Congratulations to Marcus on the win, but wow, Wakeland was right there, not too surprised though! Didn’t expect Lonestar in 11th nor Mustang in 8th, but nothing else is to crazy considering how today went. If I’ve learned one thing from this comp, always expect what you don’t thinks gonna happen to happen, because anything surprising can and will happen! Prelims recap is, interesting to say the least, SUPER tight for those last 2 as we expected. Thanks again to our 5 out of state programs for coming down, PLEASE come back next fall! Congratulations to Vandy on the win!! Rouse and Vista not to far behind! Bowie RR and Leander super close, despite surprised to see Dripping Springs 11th, but otherwise not thing to surprising, congrats to Cy-Woods as well, great stuff from everyone!!

Heritage just beat Cen10 at B-Ville, think they are top 3 here fs 👀 Ik that comp is judged differently but I think they are back. I’d say 5th is the battle with Aledo,BC, CH and Richland being locks, though Richland I could see getting passed…possibly, though they should be fine

My Guess at finals, spaces are for interchangeable placements: Marcus-Sweep Bentonville Prosper Wakeland Wylie Mustang SLC Lonestar Braswell Bell Rockwall Central Finals was amazing, everyone showed out, that top 5 or so is gonna be pretty close…I think

Congratulations to Keller! Also, Colleyville seems to be back, happy to see them having success after last season, and Emerson up to 6th. Congrats to everyone here!!

Yeah Prosper just brought the heat!! I mean that ensemble sound is HUGE!! Amazing soloist, and that percussion has got some hard writing they are killing! Definitely a nats show, probably the best one their taking up to Indy! Tons of GE, just a really well designed show, will be fighting for state!

Yeah so ummm I think I was just super tired when watching Wylie the 1st time bc that was simply incredible!!! SOOOO much visual GE, they really bring out the theme! Such a big sound, they really turned it on for finals, though maybe to much with that early entrance in one of the hits, nothing to major though. Guard was just magical, so so good, I’m happy them and Prosper are going back to back bc it’s really gonna probably be between them to see who takes that last spot at area imo, wow

Wakeland coming out really strong!! Brass was lighting it up, what a sound!! Soloists were beautiful as ever, and other than some minor cover down issues, they’re visual was great, super impressive and challenging stuff, classic Wakeland, definitely could see them medaling, 2-4 will be tight!!

BENTONVILLE!!!! They just absolutely laid, it, Down!! That brass is just so so powerful but they have so much control. Guard is so effective in their staging, and despite the electric issues, they overcame them and showed them they belong with the big dogs here in Texas, wow!!! Thank you so so much for allowing me to hear yall for the first time!!! Killer of a show, could very well surprise us at St Louis!! Love you guys ❤️

Southlake brining it tonight!! So many hidden features throughout, though hard to catch it all sometimes bc there’s always so much going on, but it’s never to much. Lovely WW small ensemble and Flugelhorn soloist, really love the direction they’re going, definitely could put up a fight for state!

I think they’ll have been super close, if not first out. I had them in, but clearly the judges saw things we didn’t, doesn’t mean they’re bad, this comp is extremely rich with talented programs!!

God I love this Mustang show sooo much! GE is off the charts, they just need to continue cleaning and it’ll be a beast of a show come nats! Some squeaks in the WW’s and a couple individual visual issues but I think they have shot at top half. Thanks so much for coming down to Tx Mustang, absolute banger show!!!

Great stuff from Keller Central! I still don’t understand the show, but that’s okay bc I could listen to them all day! Super strong brass, especially dem Mellos, love the trills, super clean! Excited to see how they do at Waco, probably better than most expect regardless of results tonight, definitely showed up tonight!

Yeah I see why Braswell made it!! Tons of GE throughout, and the kids are elevate the performance so much simply bc their having so much fun!!! That trumpet and bone soloist, top level musicians, WOW! This program has a super bright future, just so entertaining!

Great stuff from Bell. It’s an extremely difficult show, and once they clean and are fully ready come area, it’s gonna be a beast of a show! Still love so much how they integrate the colors with the music IE blue shades on the blue tarp, great stuff LD Bell, classic stuff from them

Yeah Rockwall just absolutely showed why they deserve to be here. After a second watch, I love the show even more. It’s simple and popular music they are playing their own way. Wow soloists, guard was 🔥🔥🔥 I don’t see why they can’t make state, still will be competitive but that’s as close to a UIL as it gets

Killer performance from Lonestar. People tearing up to that ballad, and god that Mello line is ridiculous, will be even more so come state!

I think Aledo wins here, especially with the momentum they’ve had, completely different program, could honestly be there best show ever, and I also think Colleyville is back in, won POC and placed ahead of B-cen in prelims of Birdville, could definitely change tonight but regardless good showing, but I do think Richland goes back, with 5th being a battle Fossil Ridge, Birdville and Azle, maybe other potential finalist
