Wow James Bowie, just wow! Tons of GE throughout the show, they sound fantastic, and march so well! you can tell they want a finals performance at GN's later this season! Loved what I saw and heard so much. Beautiful performance James Bowie!

Great performance from Tom Glenn! A little bit of dirt in the brass, but other than that they sounded really good! Soloist were great, and the visual package was very cool looking! They are quickly on their way to the level of the other LISD schools, great job Glenn!

And what's even more crazy is that it's still September and everyone is sounding like were halfway through the season!

Amazing performance from Westwood! I'd be very surprised if we don't see them tonight in finals! Those woodwinds were ripping through those difficult licks with ease, soloist were on fire, and the drill was very clean. Really loved that performance. Great job Westwood!

Beautiful performance from Gatesville! It's gonna be really close between them and Burnet for that AA title. Could see it going either way, but most likely Burnet imo. That ballad was so beautiful, great soloist, and they looked really good as well!

I'm really curious to see how CP and Leander end up comparing up. Both had outstanding performances, so it will be fun to see which AAA band comes out on top, plus we still have Rouse to see. Definitely could see McCallum sneak in, but most likely will be a couple out due to the depth of this contest.

Amazing sounds from Hutto! The opening hit is so powerful and clean! They featured the different ensembles very well throughout the next movement, and the ballad was beautiful. Great job Hutto!v

WOW WOW WOW LEANDER!!! That music performance felt unreal for late September! The really pull off the "Ripple" part of the show with the visuals, and the music is just phenomenal sounding! Soloist and guard were on fire, just a wonderful performance all around. Could possibly see them in the top 6 tonight, maybe... either way Fantastic job Leander!

Very beautiful performance from Burnet! Love the Swan Lake opener, and they have some incredible sounds for this early on in the season! Will be interesting to see how they do in UIL this year. Great job Burnet!

MY GOODNESS CEDAR PARK! Throwing down like usual I see! That visual package is so hard in terms of what it requires from each individual, and they all killed it! It's definitely interesting seeing them with no hats and in custom uniforms for I believe the first time, but it definitely doesn't hurt them in anyway. Great job Wolfpack!

Good morning everyone! We are live here on Box5 starting out with a fantastic performance from Mccallum High School! They brough the sound this morning, and I definitely would not be surprised to see them at state finals again this year for 5A. Some very technical licks that they killed, and that percussion book is no joke. great job Mac band!

I’m very excited to see Flomo at Wylie next week based on all you’ve said about them! Sounds like they have a very good show, snd of course they bring a Huge sound!

No it’s the same, and Frisco Lonestar was a finalist in 2019 for 5A, not 2021. they were 4 our placing 16th behind Roma, Wylie East and Lebanon Trail. And making the evening finals is the same as being a state finalist, only the top 12 advanced in 2021

Yeah it definitely will look something like this. Forney will easily win once again, Poteet should be second unless North Mesquite returns to its former glory pre-Covid, but Red Oak and Pine Tree have also been on the rise recently

I’d doubt Glenn will be out of the top 3 if not 1st. They were fantastic last season and are quickly rising to the levels of the other bands in Leander ISD.

Yeah the schedule will most likely come out sometime soon, but I’d imagine they are going last so we’re probably looking at around a 12:30 start

I know they just got a new director, but I would love for Timber Creek to finally make finals here! I’ve heard they have a great show this year, and i definitely feel like this could be their time!

Johnson 12th: Westwood/Dripping Springs/Lake Travis It’s gonna be a huge battle for the last 3 spots. There will be some bands who normally would make it that won’t, all comes down to who had the strongest performances that morning!
