McKinney Boyd- City in the sky: WHAT A SOUND!!! That opening hit was so powerful my seat was shaking! Incredible ensemble sounds, dynamic control, and those soloist were fabulous! Really excited to see them again this evening, and wouldn’t be surprised at all if we see them back at State! Great job Mckinney Boyd!!

Walnut Grove- symphonic sessions: for a first year program they sound so good! I really loved the variety of music, guard was fantastic, and I think they will soon rise to the likes of RH and Prosper. Could definitely see them slipping into finals, a couple rough patches at the end but I’d love to see them again this evening! Definitely could see them being a finalist at area, especially with how clean they will be. Great job WG!!!

Birdville- Please stand by: really great stuff from Bville! Looks like they weren’t in full uniforms due to the heat. Good soloist and woodwinds, brass was also good, needs some tuning but I think this show has some potential to do very well late season. Really enjoyed that ballad as well, great job Birdville!

Lonestar- Gridlock: I’m in absolute unbelief with how well this program is!!’ They are starting to turn into my favorite marching band, bc they just know how to entertain, play with such big and clean sounds, I mean just wow wow wow! And those soloist were ON FIRE!!! Loved the cowboy bebop! Amazing job Lonestar!

Midlothian- the gift of giving: I love my Xmas shows in this Texas weather! Some really nice music sections, soloist were very good! Another band with some issues dealing with the sun, definitely potential to make finals but they probably will be a couple out. Very excited to see how this show is when they clean up a bit. Great job Midlothian!

Reedy- Uncharted: The improvement in this program is really good! Definitely have a real solid shot at finals, some tuning issues in the brass, especially towards the end and other things here and there, but they sound way better than they ever have before, and Ik they’ve got a way better performance if they make finals. Great job Reedy!!

Good afternoon everyone! We are here at Wylie Pirate Stadium! It’s H-O-T, but so far the bands have been handling it just fine! I did miss DeSoto unfortunately. Lebanon Trail- Ice Castle: Great show! Soloist we’re incredible! Big and powerful opening hit. Love the showcase of all the different sections, and that ballad was beautiful! Cant wait to see that again tonight! Oh and the pianist during pre-show killed it! Great job LT!

James Martin: forgot the title but they sounded really good! Definitely not as strong as last year, but they should still make finals here. Really great soloist and some very effective drill, great job Martin! -

Keller Central- The Edge All I can say is wow! It’s hard to judge visually bc of the quality of the live stream so most of my comments will be music based, but KC sound SO GOOD for this time of the season! I’m a really big fan of the music, especially after that opening hit! Their soloist did great, especially that Clarinet, bro was killing it! Very excited to see the at prosper, great job KC! -

Only doing finals, idk why but I’d imagine whoever is doing either couldn’t make prelims or some other reason, but I do know they are covering finals! -
as a former marcher at Lovejoy, I feel like for us, it's less of losing the momentum and more we just don't ever had good area finals performances lol. I don't think they would have made finals at boa Waco last year if they had loss their momentum, area is just such a curse for us, and with how competitive Area B is, a bad performance will almost guarantee a not so good placement, and it's not even area, just are finals lmao 😭, but very solid placments, very excited to see how this one shakes out as a spectator, can't wait for flomo to blow my face off!

I very much believe and think that Pearland could pull off a Rouse-style upset and be in the top 3. It's won't be easy, but I'd love for them to achieve a new level of success, especially with them going to Grand nats this year. They've got such a beautiful and very well designed show.... the sky is the limit for this program, excited to see how far they end up going! -

They are just historically good. Strongest program out of New Mexico, and they just do really well in boa. If you looks at their past seasons and honestly most recent I think you’ll see why. I mean they placed 2nd here last year so I think it’s fair to say the have a solid shot at medaling, they just tend to peak towards the later half, but still a really good program. -

I’ve never seen nor heard about them before lol, so it’s just a guess. Are they like really good or something?
