Leander will definitely make finals, and I'd be surprised if Wood didn't, they sounded really good for this early on. Will be close if they don't.

WHAT! I'm currently praying that they do so you win that $$$ but in all seriousness I think they have a solid shot, everyone's just been showing up today, so it really comes down to the small details that the judges see and hear that will determine tonight's finalist.

I'm unfortunately not able to watch the rest of prelims or finals due to football game marching band stuff here at Baylor, but hopefully I'm able to watch prelims awards between the end of rehearsal and heading over to the stadium. Great job today everyone, best of luck to tonight's finalist!

Very intriguing and well sounding show from Dripping Springs! That opening statement was very big and impactful, overall very good sounds. Seems like they had some issues with their mics which is always unfortunate, but definitely in contention for finals! I'm very excited to see how they grow over the season as I think come the final stretch this show will be very strong. Ballad was also very impactful. A little dirt in the brass but it's hot as heck some that's completely understandable. Great job Dripping Springs!

Solid performance from Hendrickson! It's not my favorite show or music, but they sounded really good, but some dirt in the sound, definitely not as strong as last year as of now. We'll see how they progress over the season, still a good amount of work to do. Great job Henny!

LAKE TRAVIS!!! They sound dangerously good! that opener was so clean and loud, the double tonging feature was so good, like this is another level of good for this program! I'd be pretty surprised if they don't make finals, but they will be very close if they don't, just with how good those bands fighting for those last few spots are. soloist were also very good, loved the tuba! and they looked pretty clean drill wise. Amazing job LT!

MY GOODNESS ROUND ROCK! What a performance both musically and visually! They sound so so good, and that drill is also very clean! The sky is the limit for them with this show! Soloist killed it, and I love the opener with the backfield playing! Just such a great show all around. Definitely looking like a grand nats finalist to me come that time. Great job Rock Band!

What a fun show from Weiss! Love the little ensemble moment, and they've got a big sound this year! Could definitely be a dark horse this season, especially as we get closer to area. I'd say they've got a shot at finals, but if not they won't be far out. Soloist were also incredible. Great job Weiss!

Very impressed with Tom C. Clark! Really big ensemble sounds, great soloist, and that ballad was incredible. really loved the performance. Great job Tom C. Clark!

MY GOD ROUSE!!! They already sound miles ahead of what they did last year this time around! I mean they just absolutely threw down! They may be a little higher than I expected lol, could easily see them in the top half! LOVE this show so much already!

MY GOODNESS CEDAR RIDGE! What a wonderful show! I think this one will take some time for me to grow on it, but once it's complete and clean Ik I'm gonna love it more than I already do! just great sounds all around, interesting theme, and they played the heck out of it! Gonna be another wonderful season for them! Great job Raider band!

Interesting performance from M.G.Johnson! I don't know how I feel about this show if I'm being honest. They sound great don't get me wrong, but it's not really clicking for me, especially it terms of GE music. I think they still have a solid shot at finals but they probably will be a couple out. The drill was very clean for September however. Great job Johnson!

Great performance from Brandeis! Really loved the little Cowboy bebop at the end. I think they have a solid shot at finals, but will probably be a couple out. Great sound and looks though! that opening hit was very powerful! Trumpet soloist was fantastic all show long. Great job Brandeis!

Yeah I'd very surprised if Leander managed to come close, but they definitely are looking and sounding much better than last year.

It seems capes like those are becoming ever so slightly popular in the marching world. I will admit it's a little distracting at times but nothing to harmful.

I'd be beyond shocked if they don't. Don't remember the last time they didn't make finals here, but I think they will comfortably be in finals in the 7th-10th range
