This is it, I’m extremely confident and excited for Wakeland. They have been rocking every competition and have immense drive. They are competent, confident, and consistent. With these traits they will be a guaranteed medalist. I even believe they can beat the likes of Rouse and Cedar Park. Despite how BOA San Antonio went I’m confident that they can pull through and go for gold! Besides, the LISD schools had most of their points from GE and judge bias. I’m sure with UIL judges Wakeland will be on top!

Let’s not put down other bands in favor of others. These bands are talented, and truly have deserved the place they get. On topic though…

I’m a huge Wakeland fan as well! I know they’ll do good :)

THIS IS IT! This is my last competition of the season (ever technically cause I’m a senior), and I couldn’t be any prouder of my band, Forney. We’ve been through so much this season, and I genuinely am glad I’ve had this opportunity for 4 years to be apart of this organization. I honestly regret not being in these forums sooner because y'all are genuinely the kindest people I’ve ever met. Anyway, enough with the blabbing. Good luck to every single 5A program who is competing! I genuinely love you all, and give it your best shot!

Congratulations, and best of luck in your performance(s) today! I know Forney will be amazing! Give it your all, and try to soak up every single second of it. I was a band kid in the Houston area, and my daughter was Guard at Wakeland. My mother was also a band kid in another state! We never really lose that passion for it. Look at me! I’m still around following this great activity (or if I may, I’ll call it a sport, because that’s exactly what it is), for all of these years. This is something that will always be here for everyone to enjoy, either as a performer (high school/college/DCI), or as a spectator.

Good luck to you today, and whatever the outcome, just ENJOY the day, and this amazing sport we all love so much!
