principalagent
You could tell this was a new experience for Pearland. Tons of excitement, tons of nervousness. They had the clean run earlier this weekend that they needed two years ago. But now it’s not a new experience for them anymore. Can’t wait to see them help usher in a new era for Houston bands from now on! A Testing Trumpet and Hard Core Band Fan
lost
Any doubters of Pearlands place in finals where proved wrong just now. What a great performance

Band_dad_of_2
Round Rock showed me we don’t have enough mimes in the marching world And the use of 3/4 time....that was a really cool part of the show.

BandFan59
LOVE the Woodlands show! It may not be the cleanest show, but it is by far the most entertaining I've seen this entire contest! They have so much fun out there and you can really feel it! They can definitely get top half both here and at Grand Nats!
Popular Post Maestrozo
The Woodlands is one of the most enjoyable marching programs I’ve ever seen. Bringing a ballet/broadway work to the marching stage, and having HS students execute at such a high level. Wow - I’m blown away. LostChoirGuy
I have the biggest smile on my face right now following that show. I just love it so much. I hope that everyone who has worked on it knows how much it makes the audience happy. And that ending with them waving was so cute! A Testing Trumpet
The Woodlands had a better run here then Prelims, so much more energy and character. There is a good chance we could see them in the top half of Grand National Finals. paulhhs
paulhhs
Marcus and TWHS are an absolute study in contrast on how to put on excellent shows. It will be interesting to see how they rank against each other.

LostChoirGuy
They need to do something about this turf. I hope no one is getting injured. rdmmp
Nny14
Hmm that FloMo show didn't progress quite like I thought it would. Particularly musically. Still one of the most creative groups in the country.
BandFan59
Flower Mound put in a great performance. Jumping into top half is very likely, but I don't know if they can medal tonight. But I said it yesterday and I'll say it again, their students have the best individual marching technique in the state. northtexasbandfan

livonian
I think I answered my own question. They’re UIL 6A right? Right. UIL is has 6 levels based on 9-12 school enrollment. BOA has 4 levels based on 10-12. For example, that's why Weiss was BOA 1A 2 years ago (opened with only freshmen & sophomores), 2A last year, and 3A this year (first year with seniors).
