Congratulations to all 5 of the bands from Texas that made finals! Excited to see one more run to wrap up the marching season for 2025. I would be lying if Box5 hasn’t completely buzz killed the last hour, but hopefully all is well for finals. You got this Flower Mound!!!

Not true. Performance order goes by top 6/bottom 6, then by draw order.

"The top 6 scoring Bands from Semi-Finals will be assigned the last 6 Performance times in numerical order according to the Finals pre-draw that took place at Band Check-In. The next 6 will be assigned the first 6 Performance times in numerical order according to the Finals pre-draw that took place at Band Check-In."

I think the results tonight will be disappointing for Texas folks. I'm expecting a tie for Avon and Carmel for 1st - not because I think the results will actually be this, but this is the 50th year celebration and this is an Indiana-based organization's competition and their two darling programs are in the mix. I just don't see a Texas victory being possible or likely.

Yeah this is a bad take.

I think Flower Mound won’t take it for reasons actually involved with performance. Tired of these weird shadow mafia takes from Texan folks that make ALL of us look bad.

5 Texas bands in finals, 3 in top half. Only one other state has multiple bands in finals. I’d say Texas is still doing things right!

i find the ties kinda hysterical. i was sooo close to posting about how this yr was gonna be like 04 where the top 2 stay the same across rounds but the rest is chaos. maybe that'll be true in the end!!!

doesn't seem like the upstairs and downstairs music judges saw eye to eye to get that 4-way tie.

Notice how Carmel and Avon were singled out in the comment I responded to. Texans need to chill out. I love Texas bands more than Indiana bands but you have a very loud and arrogant minority that needs to be tamed. The delusions of grandeur and constant belittling of other programs have become very tiring to listen to.

Well, this my opinion based on 3 decades of watching how things work here. I know you can't allow anyone to have a different opinion from you, which is a shame. I've seen politics play out in several states over the last 50 years. Of course, I am not you.

tbh the top half bottom half split looks almost exactly like i would have had it, miiiiight have thrown in B-ville over Reagan but Reagan is a perfectly reasonable choice. 

soooo thankful woodlands was able to hold on throughout the day, bodes well for them methinks. close it out strong, kiddos!!

finals panel is great. one ge judge in particular can be a bit of a maverick across wgi/dci/boa. kinda hoping he mavericks his way to a Flomo win in finals lol.

the scores have gotta be close.

You're giving some good advice.  You should have followed it.  You're not occupying any moral high ground here.
