No I 100% agree, just a joke so some of the smaller programs from either state had a higher chance at making finals, but OK has plenty of bands that could compete very well with the Tx bands, and Bentonville can definitely fend for themselves, but I do think they need a regional or SR in the OK/ AR area

I think if anything, we need a “North Texas” Area. I would say McKinney, Prosper, Wylie, Plano, and Allen schools from Area C, and Richardson, Coppell and very North Dallas schools into a new Area. Plenty of good stadiums to choose from, McKinney ISD, Children’s Health Center, Ect, but they definitely need to make a new one for North Texas

Yeah, based on last year, we had 35 bands in prelims, so with the area losing 5, all 30 would need to make 1’s to take 6 to state, and if there were 5 bands that got 2’s last year, they’d all have to make 1’s to take 7, so the chances of only 5 going are looking somewhat high right now….

Definitely feels like it’s almost impossible they skip this for WMI, opening up another finalist spot there, but if they did that would be crazy and hilarious, although I doubt they care much if at all about keeping their winning streak over at Wylie. And now I may have to consider which of the 2 to go to if able, especially if Lovejoy is at Wylie 😫

What area would they be in? Guessing Area C, which if so, even though HP is returning, Forney is leaving to 6A, and think they would be very strong in Area C, especially with how well their past season was

I don't know why I did this..... and yeah, I think Pine Tree, assuming they hold up to the successful season they had, I think they will be constant advancers each year, much like what happened with Sulpher Springs when they dropped down to 4A. I could Lumberton or Bridge City taking the last spot between the two, maybe Paris drops out, but they've been really strong post-Covid.

I've heard that they decided to keep the guard while adding the dance team? Hoping this is true, think it's the best thing they could have done.

I think this was the best move.I'm very excited to see how they integrate the two together, very much looking forward to what they have in store for us next season!

Although I've seen on social media that many students in the guard, as well as parents and other folk are against the idea of the dance company, which IMO, means they should stick with what the students want, especially since it seems that they have been majorly improving over the past few years. Hopefully everything resolves in a positive manner.

Can't wait to see this new look from them!

I know is still gigga early, but when do boa schedules normally come out, or, when should we expect around to have the 2024 lineup? Also one last desperate attempt lol, I’m still looking for either of Lovejoy’s performances from BOA Prosper 😕
