Galena Park ISD stadium on Saturday...I'm so glad the region contest is there again because it's really close to home (5 mins from my house) and their turf is sooo much better than Alief's (where region 19 contest was last yr) What's the derivative of ln (x - e^x)? (yes, that's a minus sign)

But then again, I've witnessed some VERY peppy announcers and it never fails to make me laugh when I hear them. Too bad I'm usually in the front and the judges may see me trying to refrain from laughing

Yeah..I think it was Cy-Springs (??) that started a wave with Deer Park before the Drum Major awards. I happened to be sitting with them and did it too...ahh, good times

Because upperclassmen are awesome like that and we can have as many cookies as we want..hmmph, now I want some cookies and I don't have any I had to answer the clarinet question because..uh, I play it: I don't personally complain, but when you have all of the weight of your clarinet resting on one finger, your thumb and even your wrist sometimes gets really sore. Seriously, you should see my thumb after playing for long periods of time--the part of the thumb I use gets red and shiny. Oh, and the wrist thing is especially bad during concert season because you play a lot more. No, we really don't have it as easy as people think we do...but we do have it pretty easy for marching season Why is it that I can never get on here anymore? It makes me sad *tear*

I know what you mean. I was failing AP Calculus (which doesn't affect eligibilty but still..) with a 66 because I hadn't turned in like, three assignments. I got them in the day the teachers' grades were due for report cards.

Yeahh, I got a new clarinet mouthpiece,a new clarinet shoulder case (in blue,haha) , a pack of two mouthpiece teeth things and a solo book for only $112. That's less than the original price of the new mouthpiece alone! I guess it's true that good things come out of rotten things because I need my clarinet repaired and i have to go like, an hour away to do it now

Sadly I'm quoting myself...anyway, I DID forget that at one district football game a year, they give us cupcakes at 3rd quarter break. Not the BEST idea for us in marching band uniforms after we've marched a 7.5 minute show (especially those who practically attack the cupcakes), but it's still really nice.
