I think maybe the school should offer it or whatever, but the only time I've seen a girl play football seriously was my freshman year when she was on the team. I thought it was wrong that she never got any play time, though How do you begin to apologize to someone you haven't talked to in a few months?

I got a lot of nifty things, but the main things were an iPod (a week early), the maxi glide hair straightner I've seen on TV & wanted for like, forever and a Baby Phat purse

Yeah..unless you're in student council & usually have to hightail it from sightreading to StuCo state convention (Hopefully my band doesn't have to go on Friday this year because i rly want to go again!) Has anyone here ever been to StuCo state convention? (If you have...Heyyyyyyyy!)

What really annoys me is that one of my favorite radio stations (a mix station) is playing Christmas Music NON-STOP and has been since Thanksgiving Alsooo, it annoys me how they play that sad Christmas music in the department stores (ahem, MACY'S). They could put on "Jingle Bell Rock" or something once in awhile because not all of us are in the mood to listen to really slow, sad songs during Christmas

I think the Area F auditions are the first weekend in January..like, the 6th or something..at University of Houston

It's not totally like that @ my school...we have really smart tubas who have fun and who are really good at what they do (at least, the first band tubas..I dont really know the others as well). Our mellos and french horns ARE smart, and the trumpets attitude is RIGHT ON the money (but we love them anyway). Our saxes and our percussion are really relaxed and we clarinets...well, we don't CAUSE drama, but there is a lot of drama within the section. Luckily, it's all solved and now that we're separated into different bands, we're okay.

I believe my school's drama department / choir is doing "Joseph and the Amazing Color Technicoat" or whatever it's called

Solo: Mozart's "Larghetto" (Not really looking forward to playing a Mozart solo because I got a 2 on another solo as a freshman) Ensemble: "Praeludium" or something; it's a clarinet sextet or whatever it's called with 6 people in it I'm kind of ticked that my band director won't let me choose my solo, but I'm going to practice another one anyway and see if he'll let me do it. I'm a senior, and I think I should be able to choose my own solo when our old director let upperclassmen change their solos if they wanted to. We'll see!

TCU is the horned frog people right? I keep getting a lot of stuff from them, but my heart is set on UT-Austin & Sam Houston. Now it's just deciding which one I want to go to if i get accepted with my major to both.

I'm actually glad I didn't advance now. Why? I think I have wisdom teeth coming in (I find out on Monday @ my dentist appt) and I'm going to get those suckers pulled ASAP. Good thing I don't have to worry about practicing because my mouth already HURTS!

I remember you guys now! I saw your performance at the last 5A area contest @ Galena Park. I remember because I saw the performances in the rain and got soaked...yall are awesome!!
