Closest that I know of was when Southlake Carroll went to Nationals in 2022. They placed 22nd in Prelims, 11th in Semi-Finals, and then 7th in Finals.

We always performed our show in the first round of the playoffs but if we advanced to the 2nd round or more, then we scrapped the show and did fun little "pop tunes".

I'm glad you had fun! I loved participating in the Prediction Game but has had even more fun being an admin for it. I will be doing a closing statement with the final top 10 (maybe top 15) with some neat statistics in a few days.

Hey! Now your question was able to come into effect earlier this week..... Celina, Sulphur Springs, & North Lamar advanced while Pleasant Grove finished 12th, Farmersville finished 13th, Bridge City finished 16th, & Lumberton finished 17th. I'd say that is still pretty good for Area C to be in the top 17. Only Area that beat us was Area B. 3/4 bands there made finals except for Aubrey who finished 14th.

As we close the marching season with Grand Nationals tonight (Yes I know some parts of the US are still going, but not TX) that also mean our Predictions Game is also coming to a close for the year! Lumberton placed 17th. Dont agree with it but oh well, not a judge

They dont typically release prelim results until after finals results

My heart after Lumberton's performance is so full of happiness rn. That run was very good!!

This year we have introduced a weighted system on how predictions and guessing them correctly works. The more predictions for a contest, the more the points you initially receive is then multipled by a certain amount. Flip that with a contest few predict, then those initial points are multiplied so little.

Southeast Texas and I would assume parts of Louisiana where the 2 bands are located, got slammed hard with rain all night. 10 to 20 inches dumped onto us. I would not be surprised if that storm caused Parkway and Airline to drop the competition.

Atlanta, Redwater, & Mineola. Those 3 will be fighting for the gold but groups like Cameron Yoe, Holliday and Raymondville may challenge them.
