So just predict who you think will be in the top 12. That can include a smaller class band too.

Regular Regionals will tend to take 12 to Finals, unless it has 13 to 15, then all would make Finals. (Not sure why BOA Round Rock is not doing that but oh well) Super Regionals will take 14 to Finals Grand Nationals will take 12 to Finals ---- I believe BOA focuses more on GE than anything else. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that. While UIL Focuses more on Music, but they are changing that as of recently.

I contacted Clarinot to see if there is a resolution to this issue.

Hey everyone, should we include out of state competitions? I was thinking contests with a Texas Band competing would be fine.

Welcome to our Annual Predictions Game! It is me, J-Mike, one of the admins for the game, here to announce the start of the chaos that is about to ensue. If any of y'all would like to participate, please feel free to either click on the huge box with the text "Marching Predictions" or click on the Predictions tab at the top in between Forums Activity and Donate. For anyone who did not play last year, we admins introduced a badge that is given to the top 10 Predictors. This year, we will have a similar badge but just different colors. ***NEW*** This year we are implementing a weighting system when it comes to the competitions and the number of predictions submitted to each event. I would go into detail on what it does, but I will let you all see it for yourselves in the "Learn More" tab in the Prediction Game. ----- Just to let everyone know, I will be accepting event submissions IF the competition is already confirmed on who is going and the schedule is out. Lastly, I wish everyone the best of luck as we enter a bloodbath of Amazing Texas HS Marching Bands waiting to just blow us all away!. Let the games begin!!!

I am not going to post the video, but Lumberton killed it in the halftime department. Probably one of the best 1st game runs in quite a bit of years. Super excited to see the rest. Edit* - I've noticed a lot of bands this year are doing the same path as far as a slow build into a hit... Not Lumberton, NO. Literally not even 5 seconds into the show and Lumberton just slaps everyone with a big and loud statement hit. With cleaning, it's going to be very effective.

No North Shore?

I am not able to go to every single FB game, but I do try to watch all other bands via fan videos, or livestreams. Lumberton would be #1 even if I did not graduate from the school and was a part of the program 😁 (I will be including the Date on when Lumberton plays the school) * means District Game* 1). *Bridge City 9/27 2). *Little Cypress-Mauriceville 11/8 3). *Huffman Hargrave 10/4 4). *Livingston 11/1 5). *Vidor 10/18 6). Jasper 9/13 7). West Brook 9/6 8). *Liberty 10/11 9). Nederland 8/30 10). *Hardin-Jefferson 10/25 And these bands are ranked on who I am most looking forward to see. There is a big gap between #2 and #3 just because I am very very intrigued to see how the big 3 in Southeast Texas (For those that don't know, its Lumberton, Bridge City, & LCM) will do at 4A Area C as it is one of the toughest areas in all of the classifications (IN MY OPINION).

Where did you get this from? And would you have 2022 results as well?

They are going to get smaller. Just how the school district is zoned. Vandegrift will be dropping down to 5A in the future.

I wonder why Rouse moved up to the first slot? I don't think it will hurt them at all.

I just went on wheel of names and just spun the wheel and let it decide which band got what placement.

Now, could I see some of these bands place as high/low on this list... yeah, I could. However, I don't see bands like Fulshear, Cinco Ranch, & Tompkins placing in the top 6, and then bands like Clear Brook, Friendswood, & Foster not making Finals.

Well.... most of them did. Bands like Pearland, Klein Oak, & Clear Brook all got spots in that 2nd block.

I agree with Dave. I could also see HS Band #10 take the win too!!! Unfortunately, I think Hebron was placed too high though. I'd have them in the 11 - 16 range tbh.

I left College Park out bc I was unsure where to put them. I think I would put them in the 10th - 14th range.
