The first 5 bands you mentioned are also all military and if it's the same as Open Class, the Military State Championships will be held every year for all conferences. So, you won't see them present at any Area Contests no more. They will still be counted for the amount of Area Finalists, and State Advancement spots.

Well yall, looks like Lumberton's streak of having a large abundance of tubas has ended lol. I counted 8 tubas for this year.

I just wanted to say on here that Anahuac MS Honors Band was named the 2024 TMEA 1C Honor Band! This marks the first time in a long time that a band (MS & HS) from Southeast Texas received that honor. Super proud of them! and I liked to congratulate the Mauriceville MS Symphonic Band for reaching Class 1C Finals!

I'd personally like to see La Porte advance to State. They have been on the rise in the last few years since dropping back down into 5A.
