  1. This is funny because I've also been looking for the repertoire for this show for a long time and have not found all of it. Vertigo by U2 Newborn by Muse Music from Hitchcock's Vertigo (I got this from a band parent's comment on a YouTube video) That is all that I have.
  2. So, do you think the bands in B & C don't deserve to go to State?

  5. Well its bc of how stacked the Area is. I could see them placing as high as 18th, but personally see them placing 20th.

  10. This post does not belong in this thread as Lytle is a 3A Open Class band. However, Congratulations to them!
  11. @ruben_fYou should be good to go now!
  12. It's gonna have to be when I get off of work in a bit. TXBands is being mean to me and being slow lol
  13. Yes sir. Let me go in and delete it!
  14. Thanks for letting me know. I will go in and delete your "prediction" so then you can back in and redo it. 😀
  15. With how the weather is turning out to be on Saturday, means the entire contest may be moved indoors and will be 1 round only, which could mean the results be wonky. Some bands may be greatly disadvantaged due to lack of performing in a space like the Alamodome (A lot of indoor facilities have the same structure design as something like Lucas Oil or the Alamodome, so the sound on how it travels and bounces around may be equal which could throw some bands off track) while others may have a better chance performing inside (Looking at you North Lamar, Paris, Canton, Celina, Lumberton, etc.) it's going to be interesting for sure regardless what happens weather wise.
  16. Yes. Those recaps are in the UIL Music part of the UIL Website. Once you get there, select Area Information then you can see the posted Recaps for 3A & 5A.
  17. Sadly the area is not like H & B where most everyone is at.
  18. Prelims results dont release until after Finals.
  19. Is that for real? or Predictions for who makes Finals?
  20. Lord have mercy they changed it up so much since I went in 2020. We parked at the lot next to the Early Childhood Center building lol. The now spectator lot was used for secondary parking. Unfortunately, there isn't much I can help just because of the lots being different.
  21. To answer that, no there are bands that are in the 5A & 6A Classes that do not sound all that well. I mentioned early on in the season Lumberton did in fact sound like a 5A/6A Band. Let me talk more about that. Lumberton has layers in their show musically that you don't typically find in a show that is not 5A or 6A. In general, 5A and 6A band programs tend to score better than 1A - 4A. That goes for musically and visually. Lumberton's show this year is something completely different than what has come out of the program in at least the last decade. I think it has high potential to go far and honestly seeing all the comments about Lumberton being mid just fuels the inside of me into wanting Lumberton to absolutely dominate. I do want to say even though musically Lumberton sounds very good, they need to clean (of course we are in THAT time of the season) and just do something with that ending.
  22. Which competition?
  23. Underdogs as in bands who make State but just can't get over the hump into State Finals OR bands who can't get over the hump into State? I have a few in mind but will try not to be biased.
  24. Yes they did win Area C last year over Sulphur Springs.
