  5. 11th?! dammm
  6. also since I was there in person from the start to the finish, I'd like to say how i'm somewhat confused on the gap between NL and Lumberton. NL had a total score of 5 and Lumberton's total score was 19. Now, I'm not a judge or a professional but just from what I saw today, NL and Lumberton were a whole step ahead of every other band. I mean, Lumberton had the most people out of their seat all day. I'm not saying that Lumberton should've gotten first but I know that the gap shouldn't be 14 points apart. But on the other hand, I am so proud and happy of this group. 2nd place is the highest Lumberton has ever placed at Area and slowly but surely every year they are rising. I absolutely think Lumberton will place in the top 10. also Congratulations to the other 3 bands that advanced!
  7. I am so happy for Lumberton advancing!! The seniors will now have gone to state 3 of the 4 years!
  8. Oh then id swap out Clemens for Wagner/Del Rio
  9. My Predictions: Area A: not sure Area B: Waxahachie and Coppell Area C: Hebron, Flower Mound, Marcus, and Rockwall Area D: CTJ, Hays, and Belton Area E: Pearland, Clear Brook, and Dawson Area F: The Woodlands and Oak Ridge Area G: not sure Area H: Lake Travis and Clements Area I: Seven Lakes, James E. Taylor, Langham Creek, and if 4 advance, then Bridgeland.
  10. There are no finals at state this year. So with that being said, there will be some new faces that will place pretty high if there were finals on a normal state year.
  11. 4A: North Lamar, Lumberton, LCM 6A: Hebron, FloMo, Marcus, and Rockwall.
  12. 6A: CTJ, Hays, and Belton 4A: Kennedale, Springtown, China Spring, Burnet, & Godley
  13. If they do advance it will be bc they got 4th or 5th. Thats my prediction
  14. My bad I thought they were in Area E
  15. I honestly dont think Godley will make state but I do think they will get between 4th - 7th.
  16. Here is Lumberton's Region Performance from last weekend. had a few minor issues but overall good showing! Cant wait to finally see them live at Area C in a few weeks and hopefully see them advance to kick some butt at state! I am super proud Alumni already and lets keep this going!
  17. North Lamar, Lumberton, and LCM are my picks to advance for Area C
  18. Area E 6A only has 10 bands competing with Pearland and Clear Brook being 2 of the bands that could most likely advance. I am not sure if 3 are advancing or not.
  19. no, He just listed all the regionals that are in Texas but there are still more in several states.
  20. Here is Lumberton performing at the PN-G Marching Festival. There were no scores or awards, just perform and then have a 30 minute clinic with the "judges". I think they are heading in the right direction as far as with how this year is going! Sadly, the band has shrunk heavily. had about 215 members last year, maybe 170-180 this year. However, I think musically they are better than the last 3 years of Lumberton's shows.
  21. Yeah its not a good thing when a band parent of your own band decides to steal 70,000 dollars and use it for gambling across 3 states to cope with divorce. Had that happen to my band back in 2016.
  22. 4A area C is happening at Lindale HS
  23. No, I know region 10's deadline is on the 23rd.
