Simply heartbreaking.

This is hands down THE most exciting year for Texas bands in quite some time. I'm so excited for Conroe next weekend, and just beside myself for BOA SA! Maybe I WILL buy those VIP tickets!!

Today's contest (yesterday now actually) was just completely brilliant in every way. The top bands were all fantastic, but Hebron and FloMo were just over the top really. I had Hebron pegged for winning the music caption, but I was truly beside myself when they took first place! I screamed like it was Leander or something. In fact, a FloMo mom mistook me for a Hebron mom (my Leander shirt is the same blue as Hebron's) and congratulated me when it was over. I didn't bother correcting her. San Antonio is up for grabs by SO MANY bands now! WHAT FUN!!!!

Just saw some interesting Candyland-esque pics on the FloMo Facebook page. I'm guessing it's a hint about their show. I'm sure I'm way off on theme. I just can't seem to describe exactly what I saw. Perhaps more fairytale like than Candyland. Hmmmmm...

I know this topic is about Grand Nats, but it's BOA SA that will be most interesting to me this year! Avon can definitely win in Indiana, but I can't wait to see if they'll also win in San Antonio. Obviously, they CAN win there, but will they??? I'm so glad they're making the trip down. The pot, so to speak, WILL be stirred!

Ok, I'm feeling sorely tempted!! But my former band kid/current college kid will probably want to come too. She's at Texas State so I can just pick her up on my way down. Something to consider for sure.
