Okay, I retract my initial statement and will just tell you guys to BEHAVE!!!! Nothing scarier than fiercely nerdy band enthusiasts at a Whataburger discussing the results after a huge Texas band competition, no siree!!

Last year Leander had the last Friday evening slot. It was nice!

Great (and interesting) analysis as always Brandon! I wish Leander would hit up Midland BOA for the same reasons. Plus I would love to see some West Texas bands.

I love Hamptons. Definitely my favorite hotel brand by far. We plan to arrive on Friday and stay thru Sunday so we can hopefully see nearly all the bands and so I can rest as needed. My daughter has classes at Texas State that morning so we will see how early we actually make it. I'll be anxious for the schedule to come out so I can make my plans. If some of my favorite bands (and there are many!) play Friday morning, I'll be chomping at the bit to get there! We need our own TXB section at these contests!!

i got a fun little Airbnb right near the Dome for my daughter and myself this year. So excited to be staying so close by this time!

I didn't have a single issue with FloMarching for a change. SCV was insane. Now the question is, how high will they score.

ha, I had the same experience at San Antonio but they were middle aged and should know better!

Looking forward to seeing finals tonight on The Flo! I'm hoping it's a glitch free experience.

It’s so much better live though. I feel like I really have already experienced the best just by having seen DCI at San Antonio a few weeks back. I will definitely watch finals on FloMarching, but it will not be the same.

Yeah I’m super excited about this one.

They’re always under rated and a fantastic band. I’m always excited to see what Dripping Springs brings to the field each fall. They are also one of the reasons I miss Leander being a 5A school. Dripping Springs was in our district for awhile and I loved the football games against them. Great school!

My youngest kiddo has her birthday on December 26th. You can imagine how tough that gets!
