  1. I admit I was kinda hoping to see Dripping win it, but GO Cedar Park!!!
  2. I'm so sorry hun!!! I was looking forward to seeing you guys perform again.
  3. Well I had zero issues with Flomarching buffering but I can not get this box5 thing to play more than 30 secs before it completely stops. *sigh*
  4. Those of you watching it on the live stream this week--what's your favorite "view"? Multi view or no?
  5. I'm so sad! I wonder what happened? I had really hoped to see them in finals.
  6. Ohhhh thank you so much for doing this! I was going to make something similar tomorrow and I'd already completely forgotten about the different time zones! Would have missed Broken Arrow for sure.
  7. I'm putting my money on O'Fallon to make finals this year. One of the sweetest guys I've ever known and was fortunate enough to be in high school band with back in the day in Memphis is one of the Color Guard directors there and I'm sure rooting for them! While I'm not the hugest fan of the entire field being covered in a white tarp, that doesn't mean that their show isn't phenomenal because it is! And their guard....just wow. I also wonder about and feel a little broken hearted for William Mason and all of the issues they've struggled with this year with the entire change in band staff for them. I know that they are struggling mentally and show-wise, and I'm really pulling for those kids. They are so capable of amazing things if only given the chance! Hopefully the new directors will tap into that potential in coming years and give them a product that they can run with!!
  8. What time is your Friday morning performance? Hopefully I will be at my desk at that time and can sit and watch it!
  9. I'm only half joking!! There is going to be quite the withdrawal from this BOA season, I'm afraid. Of course I REALLY felt it last year as it was Leander's first trip to Grand Nats since 1999, and it was also my baby girl's senior year. I came home from Indy and I think I cried for a week because of so many "firsts" and "lasts" for my daughter and for Leander. I'm feeling a little bit that way this year as well just because another amazing marching band season is drawing to a close and I always feel let down at the end of that. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
  10. Best of luck to you! Let us know if you make it so we can root for you next summer!!
  11. Are you trying to curb my enthusiasm, young man?!! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!
  12. wiping tears away.... This is just fantastic stuff right here. No words....and I'm a person with a LOT of words!!
  13. That's so awesome. I am sure it was a real morale booster for the Churchill kids to have all that support and love shown to them. It's a wonderful thing when all of the district supports each other in this way.
  14. They go on DCI and BOA world tours (ok, Texas/Oklahoma tours) with their mom and find an entirely new and different appreciation for the activity.
  15. That's really great. Thank you for sharing that info!! I'm so glad to know that there are others in my same shoes that still follow the bands so closely.
