2019 BOA Grand National Championships

If you have the time you can read the BOA Adjudication Handbook on Music for Alls website. I was really curious what each part looks for and thought it was very informative.- 1,093 replies

I'd rather see Reagan than Tarpon Springs. No offense. -

Haha I feel like I hear this every year about Carmel and every year its the same result. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but lets not act like they'll be easy to beat. -

Not Texas but Avon would probably be the Steelers. Multiple championships while playing with a real tough attitude. The Steelers always play hard nose football and Avon always has extremely tough and challenging shows. Also black and gold. -

I think The Woodlands would be more like the Seahawks. Had a really dominant year where they won it all in 2013, and early on can seem like a mess but put it together at the end to become a top contender. -

Keller would be the Lions. Not so great in the past put have put together something to have some success pretty soon. -

Yeah I think Hebron would be the Vikings. The Vikings have the highest win percentage of any team to not yet win the Super Bowl. And I think most would agree Hebron is the most successful band to not have won a super regional/grand nationals. -

FloMo definitely has a more complete show right now, but the performance levels were not that drastic. In that regard I thought Hebron was slightly better. -

I think Marcus does body better than any other group in the country. -

I think FloMo takes it tonight based on completeness of show, but both these groups are amazing. I can't wait until San Antonio, things will really heat up. -

I confused Leander and Hebron so many times back when they wore those. I was so happy when they got new ones -

It probably effects their Visual Caption (Individual) more than anything. There's more recently been a rule where more complex guardwork is rewarded in that category. But the complaints that it hurts their GE are pretty baseless opinions that more reflect the persons want for a colorguard. The Woodlands won visual GE in 2013 with a guard that was far, far below the level of Avon and Carmel technically. It was how they were used and the rest of the show's visual elements. -

I would like to see Round Rock back in the top 5, but that's more of a hope than a prediction. I think Cedar Park will win their class.
