Also, I didn't get the chance to say much during the event, but holy moly, Vandy had some musical moments that made my jaw drop. So so so beautiful. That first place was earned.

Now, the question is whether this will be a repeat of 2019, where the 2nd place BOA SA band wins Nationals and then everybody's arguing who would have actually won Nationals. Because I think that might be a possibility! 😂

I am really happy to see John B. Alexander actually place in the top 30 instead of getting screwed over and being placed in the 50's.

They lost .1 points not an entire point, Vista got a 95.40 while Reagan got a 94.45 😄

They would’ve stayed the same. It was a 0.1 point penalty which added to Reagan’s 94.45 would be a 94.55. Still lower than Vista Ridge’s 95.40

Boring to you, maybe. Not every show has to be loud, bright and colorful. Vandegrift went a more creative and daring route by choosing a more somber, contemplative music book along with an incredibly fast and difficult drill. I loved it.

I just think personally woodlands or marcus earned it more with there significantly higher production and high energy shows
