Not sure why they don’t move to Sunday like the 3A contingency plan over Monday. That keeps the issue of busses and drivers down. Weather looks from my tv forecasters that rain will lessen around 8am but then heavy rain and storms return about 4-8pm.

Having experienced Area at the Berry Center last year this is the right call for the Houston area.  That was NOT fun for anyone.

It is official 4A Area C will be Monday at Pine Tree HS in Longview. Area C has updated their website to reflect it.

That was no fun! I was a parent chaperone with Cy Woods. Quite an experience for all involved. Do not recommend. I'm so glad they postponed area I.

Ik J is still planned to go for tomorrow. Prelims looks clear for now, finals is still a maybe with possibly rain in the evening

Area C 6A should have a decision by the end of the day today, according to the Richardson band director already, they do already have a detailed new schedule for if it ends up being on Monday. including an indoor rehearsal in their indoor field on Saturday.

Still on, most of the rain should be gone by early AM.  Then it will be dodging pop up showers through the day.

Officially on as scheduled. Rain chances still decent but less thunderstorms in the forecast and most are overnight. Likely showers off and on throughout the day but pending a significant late change in the forecast, H is a go for Saturday.
