The drill still needs to be polished.... IMO... music is great but needs to be more concise... some parts are still muddled...

Flower Mound would have been my pick heading into this contest. As of last week, I just thought that Flower Mound's show was a bit better written, and their performance more well-rounded. The fact that they won both performance captions here could bode well for them down the road. They head into BOA San Antonio as a stronger favorite than they did last year, although my feeling is that Vandegrift and The Woodlands could challenge them, depending on what the rest of their shows look like. Add in Hebron, and I think that's your BOA San Antonio top four. Quelle surprise, I know.

I watched this contest on high cam, but I'm interested to see any multi cam recordings that anyone might have.  Would be able to see more of the details.  In particular it would be nice to see what Flower Mound was doing with the props on the podium.

I feel like they're performing really well overall, but maybe the highlight moments just don't feel as effective or impactful yet? And tbh, the competition felt especially stiff this year despite some of the score spreads.

I understand what  you're saying  but the last time I judged was 15 yrs ago...

Back to back weeks for Rockwall Heath to be a first or second band of day. That’s a long wait to prelim announcements and not like Prosper is a short drive. They surprised many at McKinney but much taller task at BOA. But their show may have to BOA visual effects to catch some off guard. Would love to Rockwall and Heath both make finals here but think both are going to find it challenging and on the edge of perennial powers at the cut line!
