Brandeis is up and coming I could tell from the minute they made finals at one of the toughest areas in the state

Each program has its strengths and that’s all I focus on as I watch shows live. I don’t think we should bicker over our kids marching around on a field, it’s supoosed to be a fun and educational experience. We shouldn’t argue on some forum about whether someone’s being criticized enough or anything of the sort. We should leave the critiquing to the judges and instead build each other up. There should be no need to defend and put down other programs in the process because we should all be building each other up at the end of the day no matter whether a band placed 8th, 1st or even 43rd we should learn to celebrate them for their efforts instead of putting them down because at the end of the day it’s not placements that matter so much, it’s the growth you experienced.

This contest could set up Rouse for their best season yet

I’m sure Lake Travis could make their way into finals they have improved dramatically from season to season recently

I say what has to happen is what happened with The Woodlands and Conroe. Show the higher-ups the most competitive marching competition in the south is not worth missing for a lousy game where their performance and weeks of hard work will be dulled by the atendees needs to buy snacks. This is an injustice to Seven Lakes

Always nice seeing non-boa bands decide to appear at SA. I hope Georgetown follows suit

Agree all LISD schools have and continue to earn their success rightfully

CTJ's 2018 show felt too reliant on props I hope they go back to what made their 2017 show so great they could be a dangerous force in the GE field if they play their cards right.

I'd say of the bands confirmed going Hebron and Leander have the largest chances of winning the eagle. Both have shown consistent and excellent performances and have the discipline and show design to challenge Carmel

Didn't one of Flower Mounds colored tarps cover a whole judge this year or did I imagine that

The Woodlands 2013 was astonishing and in my opinion is the best-designed Texan show to this date. No flashy expensive props, just small items that conveyed the theme beautifully.
