I would love to see Son Lux and Ojos de Brujo be played on the field more. Any time those groups are used it’s always so cool. Also, anything by Paul Lovatt-Cooper works greatly on the field.

Yeah sorry, “pretty far” was the wrong phrase to use. I was just trying to say that I’ve heard a slightly more noticible difference in sound quality and music difficulty in marching season.

Yeah, Keller is pretty far ahead of KC and Coppell in terms of music in marching season.

Keller Central advanced over Keller last year as well. Nothing happened to Keller. They still have an amazing concert program; this is just what the judges decided. I believe Keller was 4th out of 8 in area B.

GN 2019 will be insane. With Hebron, Keller, The Woodlands, and Round Rock all scheduled to return and CTJ, Reagan, and Leander possibly returning...along with possible first appearances from Vandegrift and Hendrickson among others.

I like to classify marching band as a very physically intensive art. I don’t really know the definition of a sport but marching band is much more physically demanding than any sport I’ve played.

For prelims Scholastic A out of 128 groups Leander finished in 1st and Keller Varsity finished in 4th!!! Go #TeamTexas !!!

Keller actually has three guards! Their “A” guard is in between Varsity and JV. It’s still really impressive though considering that they aren’t technically a varsity guard.

I think Keller ISD did the same thing last year. School started a week earlier but it didn’t seem to affect the Band program that much at all.

I would assume one of those Cedar Parks to be Keller? Lol Considering The Woodlands final score, Cedar Park, Keller, and Hendrickson could’ve possible knocked them out of finals... but then again this is a hypothetical situation

Yeah! They have been consistently been improving over the past few years. They took the music caption from Keller at DMI in 2016 and are now consistent BOA regional finalists. They are really good!
