2019 BOA San Antonio

I dont think it has the same level of GE, but the cleanliness and beauty of that Vandy show has me wondering if it might upset Reagan tonight. -

Maybe it was the curse of following The Woodlands and Flower Mound, but I didnt enjoy LD Bell as much this evening. -

They need to do something about this turf. I hope no one is getting injured. -

I have the biggest smile on my face right now following that show. I just love it so much. I hope that everyone who has worked on it knows how much it makes the audience happy. And that ending with them waving was so cute! -

I would love to see 2+ Houston bands become a regular thing in finals here again. -

Ugh Flo stopped working right as Pearland started and I missed a whole minute. -

That was my first time seeing more than just a few moments of Round Rock all season and I really enjoyed it. I agree with what others said that the kids are almost overperforming what they are given, which is way better than underperforming a too difficult show I guess. -

Keller's music just gets better and better. They are quickly becoming one of the best playing bands. -

I don't think it would be appreciated or do very well competitively, but this show makes me really want to see someone tackle a show covering javanese culture and music. -

When competing at the top, the way Wakeland is- there is no need to ask this question. It would be much easier to discuss what went right as there is much to be said about Wakeland's phenomenal show. However the judges must have found that there were at least 14 other shows in which more went right that they were able to reward more points for. -

That is true about margins, but unfortunately even with the two panels you have to compare scores. This is how they get the last 4 spots for finals. -

I'm curious what the score cutoff was this year. I can't imagine Coppell or any of the other bubble bands not getting at least close to a 90. -

I missed half of Pearland's show, so now I am glad that I will get to see the full thing. I am really sad though, because I missed Coppell and was really hoping to get to see them tonight. -

I do not envy these judges. There were so many great performances that deserve to be in finals. -

I think LD Bell might have my favorite music program this year. That stuff is catchy! Kind of like Ronald Reagan's show last year where the music just felt right and flowed so naturally. I think the arrangements help a lot. -

Is Katy full of engineers or something? Between Seven Lakes and James E Taylor, they have the coolest designed props! -

TWCP has like a 2 minute section where the band doesn't play at all... Honestly this doesnt seem like the same group as last year. -

I love Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek. Good selection for a ballad. Granbury is a great up and coming band that I expect big things from soon. Those seesaws were so fun! -

It is harsh to completely lower a bands rating for a timing violation. I agree that a penalty is needed, but an entire class rating that ends a season is harsh. The fact that your argument turned into an emotional rant against BOA shows that you are not thinking impartially on the matter.
