Ohhhh but it was! 😩😩😩 I even did a side by side comparison last year on Instagram between Box5 and NFHS, and the difference was atrocious. I was also one of the people who emailed UIL begging them not to repeat the same mistake but it looks like our pleas were not enough this time. If it’s as bad this year as last, I hope enough people will complain to get it changed!

Why do I actually feel physically ill knowing that the NFHS network is broadcasting the UIL SMBC again this year. Please oh please do a better job this year! 😭🙏🏼😔

There’s one pretty close to the stadium (Lakeline Mall) so you could be right! 😅

Wonder what time finals will begin. There will be an unusually long break between prelims and finals which has pros and cons for sure.

The schedule has been officially added! Note that the performance times are early due to the high heat expected that time of year in McAllen.

I wonder if they prefer it? It’s certainly cooler temperatures than later in the day!

Added 5 more bands. This one looks like it might fill up!

Added four more bands, including Liberty Hill and James Earl Rudder. Both are new faces to BOA Austin. In fact, this is Liberty Hill’s first BOA contest, period!

Six more bands added! Still no Lewisville schools. This is going to surely make for a final 14 we’ve not quite seen before! 🥰

We’re now at 23 confirmed bands for Conroe. I sure would love to see some Austin area bands venture over to this one sometime! Great contest and a great facility!
