I’m not sure that the big SA schools are choosing to skip this one. It’s right in their backyard and a wonderful opportunity to compete somewhere close to home before the SASR. I guess we will know more as it begins to fill up!

They are definitely very good but they are not really even close to the level of PDCMS. I like the show a lot and they are definitely a talented young group, but they are lacking the skills, sophistication and maturity level that Palm Desert currently just oozes with. Those PDCMS kids are truly brilliant!

Yes I believe that is the hope…that it will give the San Antonio area bands somewhere close by to go to for a Regional competition.

I guess they were waiting on the San Marcos regional to get set.

I was just re-watching Mirage and thinking this exact same thing. Do we really need 50 bodies on the freakin floor?!?! lol I’m picturing Invictus with that many members creating their serpentine sculptures all over the floor. 🤣🤣

Excited that Broken Arrow has confirmed now for both this SR and Grand Nationals!

One thing I am most excited for this year is the battle for AAA champion! It will be one of the most competitive yet! 🤩

They look great as usual, and so did their other two guards. At least the little bit I saw on Instagram seemed to show that the A guard is doing well, and the middle school guard in particular looks fantastic too!

I would love to see a separate place for UIL discussion as there are so many threads already. Add all the US Bands comps in along with BOA and it gets difficult to wade through at times. It’s overwhelming!
