They are just working on the details right now. 🥰 Also remember this is the most show Leander has ever put on the field for the first contest of the season, so it’s going to look a little rougher than we are used to seeing right now. But things are actually going really well there, and they will get it sewn together nicely in another week of rehearsals!

There is a minor schedule change as of 8/26. Rouse has moved from the 12:36 PM performance slot to performing first at 10:24 AM, and the lunch break is now a little longer than it was before.

I read through the article yesterday after finding out that all of the Leander ISD bands stayed indoors this week and my understanding was that these are only SUGGESTIONS by UIL and it’s up to each district whether or not to follow the guidelines https://www.uiltexas.org/health/info/heat-stress-and-athletic-participation Notice, it only says “recommended” not required. but yeah, I can see this becoming a real issue when some districts follow it and others do not. It won’t be fair if a lot of the bands do not get outdoor practice before competitions when other bands are in districts that are choosing not to follow the recommendations and have full outdoor practices every week.
