great job woodlands for hangin on throughout the day!! did both them and Reagan get 48s?? i'm squinting at this blurry sheet that was posted in discord, can't make out the numbers!! 1st place in the content half of the design caption, wut wut lol. actually i agree w/ that but they do need to clean it up if they wanna make that ge splash they often make at BOA. was kinda bummed to see they marched at least a couple holes. hope the kids are ok!!!

kinda really surprised to see both them and Reagan over vista in prelims. well, visually, not at all, but musically?? feel like uil typically amplifies tw and reagan's weaknesses in music perf and lifts up vista. tw and reagan have always been visual and effect beasts. vista's mus ensemble score in prelims here is makin me tilt my head to the side and go huh??

reagan, it's funny, i saw literally one minute of their show and thought, wow this is a lot cleaner than i was expecting, they should place top half, and voila!!! there they are in 5th. good for them!!! nats prospects lookin even better!!!

suuuper bummed that bridgeland was just outside, but also thrilled for cyfair. that's a big comeback!!!

There were a few individual captions that were odd to me, but with a few major exceptions (Keller mainly) I feel like the judges were in the ballpark of what I saw and heard.

Congratulations to the bands who advanced to state finals, as well as all of the 6A state qualifying bands! I wanna hold off on a full retrospective until after finals, but excited to watch finals tomorrow! Good luck to everyone performing tomorrow!

All 4 State qualifiers from Area J made finals 👀 The big 3 we expect (FloMo, Hebron, Marcus) and wow, a huge year for Prosper! Congrats to them! It will be interesting to see what happens to Area J in the realignment.
