Melissa High School has announced what their show is called for the 2023 season, just nothing else.

some exciting news is that the Teague Marching Contest has been confirmed by the director of bands and will be updated as new information comes out about the contest!

I'm really curious to see how Area B does with how Argyle has been doing in 5A

Understandable. I created the all 2023 contest spreadsheet for those who want to see bands that compete in other BOA areas that are going to be at Grand Nationals, but also so people have a chance to see how other groups do that aren't in Texas :)

I have a document with every contest for the 2023 season that should have some of the Texas contest's you are looking for. Its on page 2 of the upcoming topics forum.

with Boswell most likely attending this contest now, and the addition of Redwater HS (3A) and Community HS (4A), this contest now has 30 bands for the contest!

I feel that the same three bands will make state from 2021. But I wouldn't be surprised if Barbers Hill or Kempner sneak into that third spot.

It shows that Aldine HS (Houston) will be at this contest and the one being held in Houston. I think there is a typo and that Aldine won't be at this contest

Bands Added- Lakeview Centennial HS (6A) Quitman HS (3A) With 27 bands now, there will now be 12 finalist's for this contest

New bands have been added to the contest lineup- Anna HS (4A) Western Hills HS (4A) This means there are now 25 bands, with a possible 26th band that hasn't been announced yet

I'm hoping they do something like what The Cadets did in 2011 in DCI (between Angels and Demons)

definitely don't want to count out China Spring!

I'm glad that Seattle is back! i'm really excited to see The Cadets, The Cavaliers, Troopers, and the unknown shows for 2023!

I'm hoping that we see a new band or 2 advance from this area! Only bands I feel like will advance from this area from last year is Cy-Fair, Bridgeland, Seven Lakes, and Cypress Woods. So hopefully we see another band join the group!

I feel like there is going to be upsets at this competition!

I'm hoping I'll get to see McKinney Boyd a few times next year! I know I'll be seeing them at McKinney Marching Invitational
