I’d say I feel like everyone from the group could!!! Don’t knock about skyline and MacAruthor, I could see Nimitz maybe getting a 2 after seeing their show live, But I’d be surprised. I think we will be seeing six to state :))

Congrats to all, especially North Crowely! I'm pretty sure they didn't make it last year so seeing them back in area is exciting!

I saw them live at boa dfw, and while I like last year's show more, they were still incredible! NO WAY could they have received a 2.... maybe went over the time limit? Thats the only possible way I see them getting a 2, and they aren't even having a ruff season! Won Preview of Champions, 2nd overall at Mesquite marching festival, and while they didn't make finals at bow dfw, they still did great against some stiff coemption.

Here’s my guess after last weekend: 1st: Coppell 2nd Waxahachie(yes I believe they will overtake Keller here. This show is fantastic and they are gonna do great things this year) 3rd Keller 4th: Timber Creek 5th: Southlake/Bell 6th: Southlake/Bell 7th: Keller Centeal 8th: Lake Ridge 9th: Ducanville 10th: Haltom 11th: Martin 12th: HP

Yeah goanna have to agree. While it's not impossible, Very unlikely. I'd say there are 12 bands that are marginally better than them, but I could see them barley missing finals.

I think Allen has a good chance! They definitely are better than last year and making area finals seems to have brought a lot of motivation. They definitely have a more clean sound and it’s very rich. For their size, they are definitely trying to up the notch in terms of difficulty. I wouldn’t count them out.

Bro y’all’s show might have been my personal favorite! I was there for everyone, and y’all’s music was just so crazy and fun! Just the whole show idea as a whole was so well executed, and y’all’s sound was so powerful!!!

Congratulations to everyone here! Yesterday was such an amazing day, and yes I was on cite until the finals retreat ended(although I did get dinner between prelims and finals). I defiantly surprised that Southlake didn't make it over Martin, but both programs were amazing, and Southlake did have some major issues with their props in prelims. I don't really agree with the finals rankings just based on what I saw and heard... this is what I had Hebron(all captions) Flomo Marcus Coppell Wakeland TC Keller Waxahachie LoneStar Bell Rockhill James Martin I have absolutely no hate for LD Bell, but their run last night was so dirty, especially musically. There was a good amount of girt in the brass, and their cover ups were not very clean. Thier Oboe soloist however sounded fantastic, but it was just a very easy show compared to everyone I had above them, and Imo was a lot dirtier, but I'm not a judge, just don't think that they were 6th, and the fact that they were 5th in prelims doesn't make sense either. Come Area, I have a feeling we will be seeing some major changes, and I really believe TC and Keller will jump over them. But great job to everyone! Hebron is once again cracked and yes, they will be undefeated this season.

but congrats to everyone here! really happy that Summit was still able to slip in with the massive staff change! I think in 2-3 years, maybe less, these guys will be back towards the top!

Good for Klein Oak for jumping up there! Thought they’d place higher at Katy but this shows they are only progressing upwards! Congrats to all!

I do agree the Sacshes feels more boa orientated, but it’s a state year for them, so while they had great success here and I’m so happy for them, I don’t think this is a good reflection for how area will go for them

Well a LOT has changed for my predictions since yesterday! Pretty much all the top bands here competed, and after everything, here are my new predictions: Hebron Flomo Marcus Wylie Wylie East Rockhill Prosper(May move up after next weekend after boa dfw 2) PESH Rockwall Sacshe/Mckinney Boyd

I’m doing great!!! Here with some friends from college so we’ve been using a blast watching everyone!!! This is without a doubt the best dfw finals ever!! Flomo was just insane…. They don’t want to lose. But it’s Hebron they are up against

WOW FLOMO!!! That was not the show last week at WMI!!! They added so much, and it’s soooo freaking cool!!!! This is gonna be another fan favorite!!! It’s gonna be so close tonight! Everyone if sounding fabulous!!!

Yeah idk it’s probably just me I’d be personally surprised if LS topped Wakeland but I just love their show this year, well I love both!!! FISD schools are only getting better

James Martin: sit down stand up: so I guess they are doing the same show as prosper??? It was very good and had lots of great musical moments. Loved the tuba solo!!! Some dirt visually but a great performance!

Lone Star-Primal: WHAT WAS THAT?!?!? That is the best LoneStar band I’ve ever heard!!! These kids are just placing the character of the show so well!!!! I honestly think they did better than Wakeland over all!!! I mean that was just incredible!!! I’m losing it right now!

Trinity-Red Edge: great program!!! They had some really good and controlled ensemble sound, and a very interring visual program. We may see this in finals? They had a really great run imo, but I’m no judge, but overall a very great show!!!
