    I've always been a huge Dripping Springs fan, and I'm really rooting for y'all in the state competition. Their gorgeous butterfly show a few years back will go down as one of my all-time favorite marching band shows ever!

    Good plan! It dumps you off onto I-10 relatively close to downtown. Definitely worth the tolls!

    Yes, when the traffic that's holding everyone to an excruciating 45 mph let's up for even a minute, cars will jet away easily at speeds of 90 mph and up. It's either one or the other on I-35 between Dallas and San Antonio!

    That's powerful stuff right there. I can only imagine what a massive impact he must have had on your high school band career. And on many others over the years, I'm sure. It definitely helps explain a portion of your enthusiasm and love for marching band. Keep up the good work. I'm sure Mr. Sloan was very very proud to have known you, and you him. I'm so sorry for your loss, Daniel.

    Lots of good stuff happening in the 5A band division this year! Amazing growth in many of the bands. Perhaps Vandy, Vista and Leander all moving up to 6A really benefited these 5A bands more than I had imagined. I love it!!
